I have oranges as regular fruits and I only plant them because i don't like the perfect version of the
oranges. If I had apples or cherries, i would also plant the perfect version of this.
As you can see, my starter fruit were pears and i eventually got a perfect pear. Although i have a higher amount of perfect pear trees than regular pears, i tried to make it equal by planting other fruits.
I planted my perfect fruit around the plaza and town hall. I plant the original apples at the back of villager's houses if they have too much space behind them lol.
I plant both. If I like the perfect version I'll plant a lot of it. If I don't, then I'll plant just 3 or 4 of them. I usually don't bother with harvesting fruit (I'm too lazy ), tho.
I usually only use perfect fruit for villager snacks and extra bells so I only keep a few perfect trees c: My native fruits are peaches in Tadfield and oranges in Sonata. I love how the normal versions look (especially oranges) so I keep them around.
I don't plant any xD Most of my town is the same as how it was when I became Mayor, only I added an orchard of all the fruits, and a second orchard of perf apples, but that was literally within the first week and I haven't done anything since other than plant Cedar Saplings round my campsite!
I plant every kind of tree in my town so I plant both. I don't really care too much about fruit trees atm because I like regular trees and cedars a lot more, but I still have a lot of fruit trees around... I just don't plant too many new ones.
I don't care for fruit trees that much so I only have a small row of them and only one cherry tree. I have lots of perfect cherry trees though since they're pretty.
All my towns have one type of each of the regular town fruit. Planted them by retail or city hall for safekeeping.
Planted perfect fruit along the train track, event plaza and thru town. There are more cedar/regular trees in most of my towns.
My guest town has more perfect fruit trees for visitors to take home.
