Do you need Online Membership to download other users designs????

Hello I no longer have online membership but I wanted to ask do I need membership to download a design?

I was going to dress up my island rep in a cosplay for a show I like with other users designs that I found.

I do not know how to design clothing.

Can I design my own or do I need membership?

Please help

If you don't have Nintendo Online then your only choice is to make a design yourself.

I remember when my online membership expired I had to re-purchase it to be able to download new paths and designs that weren't made by me.

Unfortunately, NSO is indeed required for acquiring custom paths and clothing. And I still hate it.

I'm sorry to say but you need to have a NSO account in order to download custom designs.
