Do you mix your cedars with regular trees?

I mixed them in my second town. I don't have any cedars in my main town because I didn't think they'd fit the look I was going for.

I'm planning on planting more trees in my town, and I think I'll use a mixture of cedars and regular trees for a more natural look. I prefer regular trees, but something about a town without cedars seems off to me.

Around my event plaza I have cedar with perfect apples trees in between. It looks pretty all year around.
I do have one spot with both trees and it does look nice.
For the rest I have cedar at the top and others at the bottom.

I do but I don't.
I never landscaped enough to say, I wouldn't. I guess I'd have to wait and see how it looked to me, before I made a decision. Once upon a time, I tried to outline the top half of the map with cedar trees, but I long since restarted that town; I don't quite remember if it looked like I wanted it, though. I do remember a villager moving in, just close enough to take out a few trees, however.

I keep them seperate, since cedar saplins only grow in the North.

I don't really separate my cedar trees from my regular trees. I think they look nice mixed.
