For my main town, mostly yes. I made all my face standees and almost all paths except for the 1 fall leaves qr code and clothes. I change up the path every season to give it a fresh new look. I'm pretty happy with the results.
As for my second town, I use other people's paths cause I'm too lazy to make my own. I did design my own outfit at least. =v=
I've never really tried it, I just browsed for one that I felt looked good but I kind of wish I had the patience to try pixel art. I draw sometimes and have been for years but I've never dabbled in pixel art, ever. I think if I put my mind to it I could possibly create something nice but I'd need clear inspiration to get anything done, and that's not something that comes easily to me now for whatever reason.
Yup! But i'm new to designing so i'm just experimenting with what looks good and what doesn't... i think it's rlly fun, but it can be frustrating with the limited color palette
I do make my own usually, which started back in AC:WW, so I've had some practice. I definitely don't consider myself nearly as good as some of the pattern-makers you see on bibidesign, sinreiinfinity, etc., and it can take me a long time to make a path I'm happy with. It's pretty time-consuming but rewarding.
There's nothing wrong with using others' paths, though. If they made a QR of it and posted it, they did intend to share it and let others use it. As long as you give credit to the maker when someone asks, it should be totally fine. I think pattern-makers can sometimes get more annoyed when people re-post the QR images on other sites and social media without credit, rather than when others simply use the patterns. And me personally, I get happy when I see someone using a path I made.
I have literally one path set and my friend made it specifically for me so you won't see it in any other towns. You might see SIMILAR ones since it's not like it's the most original style ever but still, he made it specifically for me and I am eternally grateful. Love ya, Del.
I made my own because I wanted paths that could fit in my mayor's design slots (most of the nicer QR ones others have made require two people). I also thought it would be pretty fun to try and make some. Made some stairs too.
