Do you guys design your own paths (or outfits) or do you use QR codes? I am always tempted by the gorgeous QR codes available, but it feels wrong to me to use somebody else's hard work. But I'm also not gifted at path making so I'm stuck having mediocre patterns. Hopefully after a lot of trial and error, my skills will improve, lol.

yes. I made all my own paths because I wanted the town to be completely mine, also I couldn't find any patterns exactly like I wanted.

I made a one qr code path. But I never liked the look of it, I use other people's now. I was using a full path last week but now I'm using a mix of clovers and three stepping stone qr codes.

I used to use QRs but I designed my own really simple path recently, it was fun so I'm gonna make all of the patterns in my town my own!

I use QR codes, considering I have no artistic talent what so ever, especially on a tiny little 3DS with a simple stylus. I like seeing what many talented ACNL fans can create and share with other players, too.

Hahahahahahhahahahha that's funny
hell no, I couldn't even make a circle look good if i tried
please
lmao

i too, use other people's boop.

it's weird, bc i am decent at doing clothing designs, but something about paths just gets me good (or rather, bad, v bad) and i can't get them remotely like i want.

i don't think it's a bad thing to use others tho - as long as you credit when asked and also if you use them uniquely? like not just copying direct from the owner's villager, but mix and matching paths, working to make them your own town feel. that's the cool bit of anything with acnl, really.

I made a path inspired by a bricked path for my town but then I realised it's a little too much green for me so I went back to using QR codes because I am not talented... However, my green brick path is a QR code funnily enough, I'm not even sure why though.

I did once. Looked ok. Here it is.

I could only find the winter version.

I have zero artistic aptitude, so I use the paths of others. There are some really GORGEOUS QR codes floating around and if people have them listed online, it'd be a shame to NOT use them.

I use other people's!!! I feel like people wouldn't make them QR codes if they didn't want them used. Plus, I have no talent with paths whatsoever! I can hardly lay them down right...I've restarted so many times

I use QR codes as I do not have enough patience to make my own. I'm currently using a peachy colored brick way.

I am hopeless at making my own paths, so I tend to use other people's, even though it's always hard to find something I like.

My laziness prevents me from creating my own TTvTT

I make my own sign boards though xD

I'm no where near creative enough to make my own paths. I need to find some QR paths to lay down, but I always struggle with it.

I use a qr someone else made but I made two path qrs that match it. I just copied the color scheme so I have something different that still goes with it. :>

Nope. I use other people's design and I'm extremely picky when choosing as well as laying them down so that probably discourages me from making my own path.

I am absolutely terrible at making QR codes of my own. The one and only design I've properly attempted was with the help of a guide. Thus, I use QR codes that other people have made. I'm grateful that they've put their hard work out for us to enjoy and the least I can do is appreciate their work by using it!
