Title is prety much self-explaintory. I want to go back a whole month for a specific thing, and then "back forward" to today. That is 31 days total. Do i lose friendship with villagers if i travel all the way in one shot? or is it recommended to travel in small intervals (say two days or one) because i do lose friendship by "not playing"?

I don't think you lose that much friendship by not talking to them, and if you do, it's pretty easy to earn back, but I wouldn't TT that far of a stretch for fear of your villagers moving out.

I heard that friendship goes down to the lowest level after ignoring a villager for 3 weeks+

I hadn't spoken to Muffy in a week....
i go and speak to her and she complains of not seeing me
Speak to her again, and she asks for an errand, i do it for her and she gives me her picture
so it cant effect it too badly

if you are going back a month then that counts as 1 day. If you want to go forward a whole month I would suggest going on as a new save file after you jump ahead to see if anyone moves.

It's true, I've time travelled a few times to fix dirt patches, and each time I've gone forward and back a month, the stuff your villagers say to you resets back to how it was on lower friendship levels.

Your gossip "rank" also goes down. I usually go from Social Butterfly back to World Traveller.

I stopped playing my town for a month, when I came back a lot of my villagers had stopped using the nicknames that they had for me

Oh well, i guess i'll better TT by one or two days. This is gonna be long, i guess.

Thanks anyways!

how would you do the jumping ahead thing? as far as i can tell, you can't adjust the clock with a new character- but if you adjust the time as the mayor and save, then switch characters, isn't it already too late?
