do you like your town map?

I have a real bad one, but I can't blame myself as this was my first AC game :3

I really don't wanna reset though, as I put a lot of effort in my current town.

I love my town map :3 I have more of a winding river, rather than a straight one, but I like it. I really like the placement of Retail, the town square, and my town hall, too.

I love most of my map. First time playing the game, but was lucky to have a friend help me choose the map.

The think that I hate is that this game is setting up the new player for failure. Unless you are extremely lucky, most of the maps are horrible placements and until you play the game you do not realize it. And as previously stated, by the time you do realize it, you are already so heavily invested that you do not want to reset.

The same applies to the unremovable PWP's - until you start interacting with them, you really do not know the pro's and con's of some of the placements, and then once you realize them, it is too late.

Of course this all leads to people purchasing new copies of the game, so maybe it was Nintendo's plan all long (but I hope not)

I like my map but maybe I should have kept resetting because I have four ponds and it's kind of like a pain in the ass. However, I managed to work around them, so I'm pretty happy with the results.

My map is perfect to me.
I just need to place my police station, and unlock the cafe (Still). How do you unlock cafe? Anyone know? I know I've done it before, but I kinda forgot. I think you have to donate a lot of things in the museum?
Im actually so lucky with my town map, it took me forever to get it but the constant restarting was worth it xD
And Murabito you have to have donated at least 50 things to the museum and have the museum shop open, once you have these if you wait a week then keep talking to Blathers he should eventually suggest it :) Hope that helps!

I like mine, which as been reset once, and both times all the villagers put their houses on the side where my house was except one. And he'd put his in the vast openness on the other side. The same exact thing happened in the 2nd version. It makes it look like that villager, Filbert, is the rich guy with all the land to himself or something.

Not really, I don't like it. I just reset too, I could have at least tried for a good map instead of taking the first one!

It's not a 100% perfect map. The town hall could of been a bit more north, and I got the blue town hall instead of my favorite yellow version, but otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied with this one and plan on keeping it forever at this point.

Honestly I'm not very pickish about my maps, i'm never gonna be one of the people who spends hours on paths and hybrid flowers.
Still, I have too many ponds for my liking, and the Re'tail is a bit far away. However, i have a house near the river which is a nice spot, nad it's coicendtally located near the Town Hall. Plus, Marshal is just across the river, and I'm planning to build a bridge right in front of my house to go over and meet him.
