I just restarted. What do you think of my new map? First I was in love with it but now I am afraid that the layout could be too boring... what do you say? Do you like it? Yes, no? And why?

I'm a really big fan of small rivers, and the buildings aren't in the way at all! So I say go for it I also like the pond in the smaller section of land, and the placement of your character house. I don't see maps like this often.

The map seems a little cramped to me, but i like the placement of the buildings. I usually dont like landscaping those smaller sections of land. My main town has a really small area that was a nightmare to landscape, but in the end I learned to love it. Just make sure there are no permenant rocks where you would potentially want to build a cafe, police station, or extra side character :>

I like it, it isn't bad, but I prefer maps that are cut in half horizontally. I like the building placement too, though. But I do prefer my ReTail to be near the beach for easy access after bug hunting, but that's just me being lazy.

I like it! I like the one long beach, and the little private beach too.

I think it’s very nice! I also like the one long beach, that would be very nice to have! Also the buildings are spaced out really well, which gives it a nice sense of balance. I don’t think it’s boring at all!

I dont like it at all, idk the river just is not my taste at all. I like rivers that cut the town in half and it really defines a lot of my maps.

Retail is by the train station which is something i would not personally like due to the fact that i like my retail close to the docks and i find it annoying if its too far away from the docks.

Town hall is in a good spot but id prefer the tree to be more centered since, to me, its the heart of my town.

This is all personal taste though

Not really a fan of rivers that don't run all the way through town. Also i dislike the retail in that spot, for some weird reason i always like it to be at the top of the town. Town hall is in a good spot, but hate that the plaza is right next to it. I always liked the secret beaches even tho i never use them, they just look fun i guess. You have a really big beach which is good for breeding lots of hybrids on! Hate where your ponds are placed because it makes it hard to plot reset houses next to each other without looking all scattered around.

But if you're happy with the layout then that's all that matters

i think it's neat!! the buildings are all spaced out nicely, and there's a little private beach which i think is really cool!! some people like the rivers cutting towns in half, but personally i like this river, i like when the town's in a big piece of land and a small piece you know?

Hmm well I like that the lake is pretty much reachable at all angles so that's awesome, but I feel like the river sections off a sizeable square of the map and that kinda feels weird.. my river runs straight in a line across the map for the most part like ----- with a few bends but that's how I like it lol

I like it! The river is cool, you kind of almost have an island, the way that section of the map is surrounded by it. Secluded.. it's cute

Not a fan of the placement of your house but thats just because personally I like to do a lot of landscaping out front and it's so close to the edge of the cliff that there wouldn't be much room for it

It's all personal preference though!
