Personally, i dont like change, so i dont LOVE it, but its ok

I'm loving it. My favorites are
- you can import any villager you want at anytime using their card
- that being said you can kick out whoever you want
- they won't move on your paths, so you can strategically plan out how/where to place them
- the tasks for the meow coupons give me something else to do
;)

tbh i was expecting something bigger, especially as i don't own any amiibo and don't ever plan to. so in my opinion not that much as changed. i do love harvey tho, he's very cool c:

yes, i do enjoy kicking out trash villagers a lot. but some of my favorite villager's cards are really expensive. chrissy is 14 bucks and julian is nowhere to be found! and i dont even want to know how much marshal is...

I love the little things they added. Being able to get island exclusives from RVs. Knowing I'll always have a new RV camper (boo normal campsite!!). The new villager dialogue. The interactions.

I do like the extras that have been added especially the ability to bring in villagers of our choosing, also the secret storage is a hoarders dream. My only gripe is the location of the campground. For those of us who have worked on our towns for years and have no desire to start over can really have a negative effect on our landscapes.

The jury is still out but it looks like I can get used to it. (Since I've already updated all my towns and put larger SDHC cards in their 3DSXLs, it's not like I have much choice anymore.) I don't like finding my butt on a rock when all I wanted to do was hit it with my shovel and have to be careful with the tree shaking when trying to net a bug. It's mostly positive, though, and I may even warm up to that stinkin' hippie...someday.

I love it. I reset one of my towns because the campground entrance irked me but I love it. The incentives actually give me something to do. I played it for eight hours straight on my day off.

That's true. I got lucky, though I guess. xD I have Chrissy (whom I'm actually gonna trade with someone on here for Diana~), and I have Marshal. I think he's going on eBay for like $40 ..lmao But my local GameStop had put all of the Series 3 card packs on clearance so they were almost $4 a pack, so I bought 8 packs. I haven't seen any sight of Julian cards. I just searched him on eBay because I was curious now and there is one listing for him for $25.

Noob alert: how do I go about kicking someone? :o

When you talk to Wisp & scan your amiibo card Wisp turns into that villager. Then he's like "What would you like me to do?" and you can either chose "Move here!" or "Give me something!" If you pick "move here!" they'll be like "But there is a slight problem, there are currently no vacancies.." and then you pick like, "kick someone out" or something like that and they'll be like "So are you sure you want blahblahblah to leave?" and you can either be like yes, no, or forget it. If you say no, it'll pick someone else and you can repeatedly do that until they mention the villager you actually want to leave. c:

I literally haven't picked up my game in a year, so I'm loving the update. Any new changes are refreshing and appreciated. My love for this game has been rekindled

I like it. It kind of sucks you can't do much without Amiibos, so I guess I'm just going to have to buy some.

If you have the amiibo card of a villager you want talk to Wisp. There'll be an option for them to move in.

Oh thats great! I just assumed that it wouldn't let you move anyone in if you were already full. Awesome! :D

Your poll answers are really all over the place. It goes from "YES I LOVE THIS!!!1" to "Meh, its okay." You should probably change the first answer to something more suiteable and not over-exaggerated like that, since most people like the update but don't LOVE IT OMG!!!. Then again, they don't think it's "meh, it's okay" either.

Yeah, I like it. We got more new things than I was expecting. It's good that they didn't only add amiibo functionality but also a lot of other changes. Most of the improvements are useful and something people have been wanting, like more storage space, new items, villagers not plotting on paths and being able to avoid the 16 villager cycle. Even the little things like being able to sit on rocks and feed birds are nice and spice things up a bit. I personally don't think I'll be making much use of the amiibo but all the same, I still think the update has enough interesting content for me too.

On the other hand, I feel that they did do some things a bit half-heartedly. They're going in the right direction but aren't really there yet, like with the skin tone thing. They should've come up with a whole new feature with which we could change it, not allow it only by wearing a Mii mask. That's the one thing of that kind that bothers me most but there are some other similar things as well. I'm hoping they'll go all the way out in the next game instead.

I'm quite pleased, yes. More storage space!! More villagers and easier ways to get (and get rid of) them, more furniture (going to make a nice curatorial office for Blathers and Celeste), new mini-games...considering it's a free update I'm very chuffed with it. :)

Mixed feelings, this update might end up being expensive as hell since much of the content is locked behind amiibos :/

I love love love it and I don't even have amiibo.

I love the new items and the storage and the way you can use the touchscreen to rearrange. I love the mini games too
