Pokémon Do you like Event, Shiny, and Legendary Pokemon?

Same as with other pokemon, I like the ones I like and not because they are cool, rare or notably useful in battle (cough darkrai cough).

As it happens, I use a few shiny pokemon on my team as well as cresselia and suicune if the other opponent "allows" it (unfortunately I have never once had someone who has let me use them yet...). I don't use shiny pokemon just because they are shiny, only if I like the new colouration better. For instance latios, I prefer to use the original, whereas sylveon and braviary I appreciate for the blue tones.

Keldeo is probably the only event pokemon I like, but I don't use it.

I think that event pok?mon are fun to collect... I never really use them for actually battling bc by the time theyre given away, my team is already set in stone and trained. I sometimes use shinies... I have a shiny eevee that I plan on training so that I can use it on my team, but for the most part, I also kinda collect those too.

I like them, but concerning event and shiny Pokemon I hate how so many of them are usually hacked or powersaved... I swear if you weren't present for the event yourself good luck trying to get your hands on a legit one. I have had this issue with many of the events I have traded for. Plus don't even get me started on Shinies people Powersave those like today's end.

Don't get me wrong I love most Shinys (some have ugly colouring) and event Pokemon but I hate how so many are hacks... I personally only keep legit Pokemon if I can help it as some hacks are too good to tell if they are in fact a hack or not.

They're fun for collecting but I won't use them(depending)
Like I would use them for trading purposes(cause as soon as you trade, people show off shines and legends) and I would play them back like "BAM! I got it too, you thought you were special? OOOH not today". I only would collect shinies if I like that Pokemon and I want to use it. I like my team all mix up.

Event Pokemon: Yes. It also allows Nintendo/Game Freak to keep interest in the franchise while other games are being developed or being made ready to release.

Shiny Pokemon: I like most of them. Some of them are pretty bland, but them's the breaks. I think that now, with their rarity going down, it's also a lot more viable for people to collect them and maybe even make a living shiny Pokedex.

Legendary Pokemon: It's an RPG. The legendaries are like the bosses. I love them.

I do like them, but I most like some specific shiny pokemon. I don't like them necessarily for their shininess, but I can't deny it makes them a little more special to me. Non-event, non-shiny and non-legendary pokemon can be great too, though!

Depends on if they're native to my game, I really like pokemon with names (as long as it isn't completely idiotic like a haunter named Freegengar, seriously got that on wondertrade). A pokemon without a nickname is just missing out on a big personal touch that makes it unique. I have a dog themed team of pokemon and every one has a name except a shiny entei and it bugs me so much to the point that I consider it my least favorite on that team. I might be alone here with my weird pokemon nickname OCD but I have a shiny hawlucha and a shiny aegislash I hatched myself called 'Cloak and Dagger' (both are 5iv adamant) and I wouldn't love them without the nicknames, I'd still like them to a certain degree but without names they'd be no different from every other pokemon like them.

I totally agree on this! Nicknames add so much character to a pokemon and make me like them so much more. On Pokemon X I never used to nickname any of my pokemon, but on Alpha Sapphire I'm naming ALL THE POKEMON!

I like most of them honestly. If they have a cool design, they I love them! I don't care much about the value or anything of the Pokemon itself.

Event, Shiny and Legendaries are all nice to have. They're all sort of 'collectors items' and I like having collectors items.

I don't use them though. My favorite Pokemon aren't particularly rare and I don't care whether they're shiny. To be honest, I would rather they aren't shiny.

I think that when you always demand that a Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot be in your party, it's safe to say that rarity doesn't particularly make a difference to you.

I go by design. I do collect all legendaries, just because they're cool to have. But if a shiny Pokemon has a nice design or color scheme, I gladly take them over the original.

I like legendary pokemon to an extent. I do not like it however when they make them fairly easy to obtain.

I do like event and shiny pokemon though.
