Do you landscape your island? (pictures inside)

For a long time my island was bare of most trees/flowers/bushes because I used it to catch insects or sharks. When I filled my museum I decided to make it prettier, this is what it looks like now:

I went for all yellow (maybe you can tell, it's my favorite color), and I'm planning to decorate the island on my 2nd town all red.
What about your islands? Did you decorate them, or decided not to bother, or are planning to later?

I'd love to see pictures if you did.

Ah cool! I didn't even think about that. Yours is so pretty! My island is bare except for the palm trees for late night beetle hunting.

I used to. But the flowers attracted too many butterflies. It didn't spawn enough rare beetles....considering the amount I scare away due to not noticing them xD

yeah, that's what I noticed when I mine, lol. Eventually I stopped hunting them in that town.

I put some red hibiscus bushes in the shape of a heart on my island! Once I finish paying off my second and third character's homes I'll add flowers/trees to it

It's so colourful and yellow!
I'd never thought of that, but I was planning to fill it with hybrids.
Now I'm thinking about turning it into a tropical hybrid rainforest. XD

I have planted a few bushes and then layed out matching outfits for four players (Yellow, Red, Blue and Pink) plus Toy Hammers for each person!

Same. I just found out about making the island optimal for beetle hunting so chop chop dig dig to anything besides 8 palm trees. Very pretty but I need those bells!
