Yup! I took swimming lessons every year as a kid. Also had swimming classes in middle and high school, so afaik all the kids that went to school with me can swim.
That being said I get tired very quickly so now I have to stop and take breaks lol

I do know how to swim! However, I haven't gone swimming in literal years so I am interested in how I'd do in the water now ksdkdgk.

Yup, I actually taught myself tbh because at around 11/12 I definitely couldn’t swim. I love it now though such easy exercise without even feeling like you’re exercising

Nope. I never learned how to swim, so I tend to stay away from deep waters. 😅

I love swimming. Although, it seems like my swimming abilities rusted over time but I still love swimming.

Reason why I love swimming so much is because you can dip in cool waters on a hot summer day and not worry about sweating too much over the intense heat. I didn't treat Swimming as a competitive sport, rather it's more of a casual activity you can do while moving your arms.

I'm not a big fan of deep diving though.

no and we had a pool growing up. I guess my mom didn’t think it was something important enough to learn / teach lol since I don’t even think she can swim. honestly though I think I know enough that if I were in a dangerous situation I would be able to stop myself from drowning? maybe? but only in a pool, if I were in the ocean I would be dead.

I love swimming!
How I learned - my dad tossing us kids off the boat and into the lake, no life jacket, lol. But that was pretty normal for back then.

Greatest swimming accomplishment - I swam across a lake. It didnt look like it was all that far to swim. I got about halfway across and realized it was way further than i thought. I had someone with me (i was supposed to help if they got tired, pfft), and when we finally made it across and they said they couldn't swim back across, i was like phew! So we had to walk around the whole lake to get back. Took forever.

Best swimming location- the tyrrhenian sea! When we lived overseas we went on vacation there and omg it was so much fun. Actual, real waves.

I learned how to swim when I was about 3-4. I loved it, and I still like swimming when on holiday, especially in the pool. It’s something I shared with my dad so it’s special to me.

I can swim but not very well. I know enough so that I don’t sink and could get to shore if I needed to swim to safety.

I know how to swim! I'm no athlete or anything but I can tread water for a long time. I swam across a lake there and back with no floatation device. My parents put my siblings and I (I was 7 years old) into swimming lessons because we bought a cottage on a lake and obviously they didn't want any drowning. Swimming is so second nature to me. I don't have to think or try really hard.

I took classes when I was a kid and got through all the levels! I don’t think it carried over much though because I’m not very good at it lol. I can do laps around the pool without drowning though so I think that’s good enough XD

I went to swimming lessons every year until was 11. Granted, I had a grave fear of water to the point where I would break down at the thought of showering, nevermind swimming, but I finally learned to actually swim when I was 10. Haven't been in a while, lock downs screwed my pool membership and I haven't gotten back since, but I'd say I could swim fairly well.
