Do you HAVE to have one particular animal species in your town?

Squirrels. I ADORE squirrels!
I love how their tails bounces up and down. It's adorable!
Right now I have Poppy in my town. I plan to get Mint as well.

Dogs and hamsters are my favourite. In my town, I tend to have two of a species. I have 2 dogs (Goldie and Cookie), 2 hamsters (Flurry and Hamphrey) and 2 deers (Diana and Beau).

I always love the cat, dog and wolf villagers. But I currently don't have any in my town!

I must have at least 5 sheep in each town or else I get bored and quit after a week
I think I have 6 or 7 sheep in New Leaf right now

When I first started I have a lot of wolfs....but now I am only down to 1 but when one of the alligator move in another one wasn't far behind...I wonder if they come to town bc you already have that animal

Somehow I managed to get 3 alligators in my town just by them moving in randomly. It is Sly, Dell, and Gayle

Definitely a male dog! (not really fond of the female designs) Love their little bean shaped heads I've always wanted Lucky or Bones in my town. I've had Butch, Mac, and Benjamin and they've all been great villagers. I especially miss Mac in his lil hawaiian shirt. I also thought I needed Dizzy the elephant in any town I make... but I'm really trying not to have repeats in my new town

I always have to have a cat, a bunny, and a deer. I'm a huge cat person, and I love the designs of the bunnies and deer... I enjoy having wolves, as well, though they haven't always been a constant.

I've always had rabbits, squirrels, & cats in my towns... They're my favorite 3 species.

I always get the feeling that I'd like to have at least some kind of bird species in my town (when I don't have one). Probably due to the fact that there are so many side characters that are birds and having another bird gives me the happy thought that out of gameplay they could interact and be good friends. Its especially cool when an Eagle villager is drinking coffee at Brewster's!

I really like to have an eagle or rhino. I had Apollo in PG, Tank in WW, Apollo again in CF, and Rhondo just moved out of my NL town.

Every town I make, I can't have one without having at least ONE rabbit villager or more. I love almost all the rabbits there is in this series.
