Do you HAVE to have one particular animal species in your town?

Do you have to have an animal species you cannot live without in your town? Like, are you a cat person? A duck collector? A bunny lover? I think I have to have at least one bunny. At first, I was all about the kitty cats, but the bunnies are running a close second. I also need a BIG teddy bear, girl or boy. And I love a tiny duck. What about you guys? Any particular species you hold close to your heart?

Rabbits own my soul. Bunifrey is an all-bunny town (obviously...lol) and Balamb is a (mostly) hamster town.

But my bunny town is my favorite. I made it in honor of my Bun Bun, after all. <3

I have a town where I am putting all my wolves, 2 more to be relocated safely..I have a half rabbit and half Tiger town sadly I lost Bianca and Tiffany so I had to adjust a little. I have an all deer and all sheep town the sheep town is a favorite of mine. I also have a soft spot for the goats, I only need Nan and the all the rest of my towns should be easy to complete I can't really do any work on finishing the rabbit tiger town until Nan is in because well it's a chain reaction thing but I'm on my way hopefully to having all my dreams soon after two years only 5 left less if the accidents hadn't happened..but you move on.
Oh I also had a town turn horse on me, it is almost all horses and a couple of cats, I didn't plan it that way wish I had or would have done it differently but I think we all have ones we love I was so happy when I got all my sheep and deer together it was a struggle. Anyway you aren't alone .

personally i love having squirrels in my town, it's always been a constant with me c: rabbits + deer are also a nice touch, haha. i tend to stay away from cows and gorillas, though.

I feel like I need AT LEAST 1 cat and 1 bunny. Without them, it's weird. I also love the sound the uhhh, dialog thing makes when you talk to them. Oh, and deers. They're my favorite and I definitely need 1 or more.

in my all frog town i need a frog lmao. don't need another villager type for my main town, though

I can be happy with villager as long as they're nice and cute. In my first New Leaf town, I had Tia, Diana, Charlise, Bluebear, Static, Marshal, Lucky, Flora and Merengue and I loved them all. I only chose an all cat town this time around because I love cats, and I thought it would be interesting to get an all one-species town. But over all it doesn't really matter.

I think Lolly has me hooked on at least one normal female cat in town; she moved out and i replaced her with Kiki. come to hink of it i also have Monique, so i guess i like the lady cats in general.

also, i like to have an alligator in town, any personality type.

Deer are my favourite animals Fauna and Beau are my favourite deer!
Eagles and Ostritches are a close second though! Celia is my favourite villager

I need at least one wolf villager in my town, or else I just cannot seem to fully go to like the other villagers thinking "Oh, if only I had a wolf in this place...ew, it's _insert random villager name that isn't some wolf_."

I like the cubs a lot, but I don't care who moves into my town. I think having only one species would be boring. Besides, I like so many different villagers that I couldn't limit myself in any way. I want villagers to keep moving out and in, so I can meet as many as possible. When I find someone I really love, they can stay, but I don't want more than maybe 3 permanent villagers. I had 10 permanent villagers in my old town for a long time and things got very boring.

My favourite species are squirrels, cats and koalas, so I have at least one of each in my town. I have two cats, one squirrel and one koala at the moment, but I want two koalas because I want both Melba and Eugene in my town (I only have Eugene). I'm thinking about having two squirrels in my town, but I like quite a few of them so I have no idea who I would have in my town along with Poppy.

I also like a few of the frogs. I have Frobert and Wart Jr. in my town right now, and I also like Puddles and Jambette (because normals are awesome).

Cats and Deer. The deer are just too precious and I'm actually surpsised they were just added to the series with New Leaf.

Cats are my all time favourite animal, I love them to death in real life so I gotta love 'em in new leaf!
