Do you have that one Villager that you like but you dont like?

Lucky. I like him because he is a dog. But I don't like how he steals the spotlight from the other dog villagers(specifically male).

I have Portia in my first GCN town. I like her design but I don't like her personality. I seriously can't make up my mind whether I like her or not.

My thoughts exactly of her.

I have Walt & Rooney. Both are okay, but very similar, so it's like one is taking up space :( But both are nice villagers overall.

I feel bad that I don't like Goldie more. She's super sweet and nice and cute and I don't care. She's just...bland, I guess. Which makes no sense because I adore Skye. But I guess with Medli coming in I'm overloaded with normals, so I need to think about replacing her. I think I'd like to try to get her picture first, though.

Elmer T__T
i like his really minimal design, his house is in a great spot, and i even gave him a dorado... but he's just one of those villagers that i haven't connected with for some reason

I really dont like Egbert or Kiki... Idk

Kiki moved in front of my town hall and egbert is just kinda crazy...

My favorite is Portia. I had a Dalmatian growing up and she reminds me of it..

@starurchin, you should source the art, so we can see the rest of their stuff wow

Heres the artist's tumblr blog.

I really haven't messed around a whole lot with moving villagers in or out in droves. However, I am somewhat afraid this is what it will be like with Bob. He was my favorite villager back in the GCN days. However, Lazy personalities have changed considerably, and I know it just won't feel the same.

There are many villagers who look nice in pictures but who I don't like interacting with in game, such as Felicity, Coco, Sterling, Rosie and overall several normal and peppy villagers. Their designs are really neat but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to like them when they lived in my town.

Fanboy (or fangirl): "OMG HOW DARE U DISS ON ROSIE OMG!!!!11ONE >:((((("

Just kidding. I'm not that crazy of a Rosie fan. I'm personally happy with normal and peppy villagers. I never found them too in-your-face or over-the-top. If a villager is friendly then I usually end up liking them.

Hehheh, I know what you mean when it comes to normal villagers, but I do actually find a lot of the peppy villagers a bit too over-the-top. Especially Rosie, lol. No offense. I like their cute designs but the combination of said designs and such a peppy and energetic personality is often just a bit too much for me.

I feel this way about Sly. I like him because he was one of my first villagers in town and I have had him forever. I did kind of mess his house up because he had some cardboard furniture and cardboard tree cutouts that I wanted to trade for. However, I find the jock personality annoying in this game. It is sad because a lot of the jock villagers are cute but I don't want all of my villagers to be talking about working out and lifting weights all of the time.

Don't worry, I understand you. In the N64 and GCN games, the peppy villagers aren't even that friendly. I heard that was changed around Wild World or City Folk, but it might've been New Leaf where they became more friendly. Maybe if they were toned down a bit then they wouldn't be so over the top (and also the reason why I wish each and every villager would have their own personality in a future installment but that would take forever to implement).

Phoebe. I have no idea why but I used to hate her. I guess i'm warming up to her now but I used to make it a daily thing to hit her with my net and push her into a pitfall xD
