Synesthesia is a term that describes a wide range of conditions, but they all boil down to some sort of melding of the senses- some include things like seeing colours when you hear certain sounds, being able to feel it when you see someone else get touched, feeling like numbers have personalities, or reading words and feeling as though you can taste them. There are more than 80 documented types of synesthesia, so I can't list them all here, so I'd recommend looking up a list online.

I recently learned that I have time unit-colour synesthesia, which means that, to me, months of the year and days of the week all have a certain colour that is heavily, involuntarily associated with them in my head- like June is a lavender colour, or Wednesday is a bright orange. So I thought I'd see if there were other synesthetes here!

I have quite a few of the many types. I would think more people have it than not since there are so many different forms, but I really don't know.

I have musical synesthesia. Every major and minor key produces a different colour in my brain when I hear it. So for example, if I hear a song on the radio that is in C major, I will "hear"/see a distinctive pale yellow colour in my brain.

Not really as you described but sometimes when I hear certain words I can associate them to the weirdest things/phrases etc.

I'm not sure if it counts or if it's just really strong association, but I get flashback-level memories when hearing certain songs, including physical sensations. (Nothing bad, just stuff like feeling cold because the song is linked to a winter morning at a bus stop or something.)
