Do you have more than one town?

Was thinking about getting another copy of the game and was wondering if any of you had more than one town and what you do with them? I've been thinking about using one as a themed town, while the other being more of a relaxing "just for fun" town.

I have two copies of the game, one physical and one digital.
I bought the physical one first, and then decided to buy a digital copy for my 2nd town. I wanted to use it as a cycling town to obtain the villagers I wanted in my first, then once I had the villagers I wanted, create an actual 2nd town with a theme different to my first. In reality, I started playing on my 2nd copy for about a week, then quickly abandoned it for my main town oops Although I kinda want to use it for a 2nd town, I can't now, as my boyfriend decided he wanted to give ACNL a try (since I always talk about it & he wanted to see why I love it so much haha)

yes, i used to have 4 but now i only have two: syntoia and bermuda (syntoia/physical bermuda/digital) -- my other two were sagwa and changwon but rip them changwon got corrupted and sagwa was on my old ds i cant remember the id pass to ):

anyways syntoia is a cherry blossom pink town, literally everything is pink and then bermuda is a late night summer town, filled with trees and weeds and black flowers,,, the contrast is fun.

I have 4 towns, and it's fun. All of them are physical hard copies, only one is the original game, w/o the WA update.

Moriyo and Treehut are hardcore themed towns; I intend for Luminosa and Secret to be themed, but more casual, not so extreme. I use Secret and Luminosa as cycling towns, so I can obtain my dreamies for my other towns. So far I've gotten both Tia from Treehut and Julian from Secret. Because Moriyo has 4 residents, I can't plot reset personality types.
I also use Moriyo and Secret for their catalogues, thou Secret has the gold catalogue.

i got myself animal crossing ds this summer and soon bought another pysical copy cos i just needed another map. last week i got myself another copy lol xD

its great! each town develops differently and each town has something really great abt it. im just a sucker for landscaping and getting to know different villagers. also somehow building a story around town. each town has a character of its own.

in future i will prob get another copy cos just the part to choose a map to me is worth every penny <3

I have two copies of the game. The first is my physical copy I bought years ago. On this copy, I have my main town of Astoria. It's a casual town with no theme, just there to look pretty. I try to change the paths and everything each season.

The second copy is my digital one. It stores my town called Hopalong, which I used purely for cycling villagers and RV visits. Basically, I used it for anything I couldn't do in Astoria due to it changing the town drastically/for profit lol. One day I would like to make this copy a heavily themed town instead. It is worth noting I haven't played this copy in forever. xD

Ooh okay awesome! I just bought my second copy (my first being digital) and am planning sort of the same. My first town being more themed, while the other just to play with and relax in

I do have a second town, but right now I'm not doing anything serious with it. Both are physical copies and each has its own 3DS so I can visit between the two towns. For the moment, I'm using the second town to farm weeds to help my main town's mayor get her weeding badge. Once I've completed that, I'll restart the second town with a theme in mind. My first town is only semi-themed so I can be more flexible and rotate villagers every so often because I love seeing new faces.

I have two physical copies but one is support for the other, basically. A way to get additional items and extra storage. I play on it some but mostly have been focused on the main town.

Personally I've never had more than 1 town at a time! It just seems like it'd be a lot of work to maintain.

i have one digital and one physical copy and i can never keep a second town well. i've remade my second town over and over and over and over again and it never sticks

That's what I'm doing, OP! ;v; My first / original town doesn't really have much of a theme. I'm sort of just doing things I like with it. None of my houses have a theme, either, I just sort of... place complete sets in my houses lol.... But my second town is going to be themed around sleep!! I have a rare sleep disorder that makes it really difficult to live a normal life, and I've def used animal crossing as a coping mechanic. I got a second copy of new leaf for christmas, and i've very slowly been planning out what I want to do! But to be fair, I still... mostly play my original town wheezes. My first town still feels more like 'home' while my second town feels more like an art project.
