Do You Have Any Good Club Tortimer Experiences?

I've seen a lot of negative threads about Club Tortimer. While I agree that there are some serious issues with the place, there are some genuinely nice people there.

A few years ago, I arrived on an island with one other person. They were Japanese but could speak English. For about an hour we just talked, mostly about the game but a bit of other stuff too. I like how even though we were complete strangers from different continents, we were able to connect over our shared interest. I've never seen them again and probably never will, but I hope they're doing well.

I've never had any experience that was horrible, some annoying but nothing to make me think " I'm never coming back ", but then again it takes a lot to honk me off.
The very first time I went, a girl gave me the coin headpiece she was wearing, I had like 300 bells and 3 pieces of furniture, but by golly, I wore that thing for 3 months.
Another time, a guy (I know now to be a hacker) was taking requests and dropping stuff for other people there and I didn't know what I would ask for so I just stayed quiet.
Eventually, they went on tour or went home so I took all the leftovers and toddled home with my loot.
I think it was a few golden tools/roses, some wa or dlc furniture and gracie thing.

I only went to CT twice & the first I went there, i met this cute japanese baby girl & she didn't know English so she was trying to explain herself with the gestures LOL tho my lame ass didn't have the gestures yet at the time so I felt really mean s; but anyway I let her catch a shark & she let me catch the other one lmao then I left

tho she didn't add me nor I added her so oh well it's ok

A while back, and I mean a really long time ago like way before WA became a thing, I visited an island with the treasure chest. But dang was it expensive. I think it was 200 medals? Could had been more, I really forget. There was another person with me who also found it cool and really wanted it. We both had 0 medals so we just did tours until we had enough. Throughout the long journey of hide and seek pitfalls and whatever else, I made a pretty good friend that I hang with on AC to this day.

Another time this guy found out that I was buying the mermaid and cabana series for a friend, so they spent 80 medals to give me two chairs. I didn't ask for them, they just dropped them on the island and said they were for me and my friend. It was really cool and nice of him.

My first time on club tortimer, I got put into a game with one girl. I told her it was my first time playing with others, and she was really nice and helpful. We did a ton of balloon tours, since those are my favorite.

I've answered this question many times. But here goes...

I went to the island once, and there were 2 guys. One was named Roger, the other Dominic. The minute I go outside, Roger came up to me and started calling me pretty. I was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable, because this kid could've been 10 for all I know, but I managed to hang on. He then started to ask me if I was single. In my head I was like "Yes I'm single, but who tf are you asking, pervert?" He then started going up to me and saying "*kss kss*". Then, being the annoying idiot I was, I decided to scream, "AHHHHHHHHHH DOMINIC HELP MEH". Dominic took an axe and started hitting Roger with it. Roger did the same back. This whole time they were just hitting each other with axes and screaming at each other, mostly saying things like "GO TO HELL". This whole time I was like, "What the hell?" It was almost like as if I was the princess, and they were fighting over me xD. After about 5 mins of these shenanigans screaming, Roger said "im going to pro pose" Someone needed to take him to grammar school. I finally couldn't put up with it anymore, and I decided to ask Lelani to go home. Then Roger came up to me and said, "baby plz don't go, plz baby". I finally got freedom and got the hell outta there. Funny thing is, after I left, I started laughing so hard. I found this to be pretty creepy and funny.

I still don't like how pedophiles are on CT. It's just disgusting. God damn perverts on CT...

I have quite a good amount of experiences of Club Tortimer! I've one time met a really great group of people from Japan and South Korea who spoke a good amount of English and have done tours with them and they were awesome! I also met a very friendly person there and we swapped friend codes and visited her town! She was awesome!

There was these two guy there, one of them I can't remember what his name was but I've ran into him two separate times on the island and this other guy who I talked to through my visit and the entire island was made into a puzzle-like format with holes and this guy who never talked was in the middle. Apparently he set up the puzzle or something? We both tried to figure it out what in the world was going on, although we didn't figure it out and it later errored on us but I really had a fun time that night!

This is a funny experience that I've shared on another thread, but there was this guy from Japan who said hi to me in English, I spoke English back to him and he just kept sending me messages in Japanese which I don't understand a bit of. We showed each other our clothing patterns, he seemed to enjoy them with the exception of one. He apparently doesn't like the Steamed Hams meme as I pulled out my Steamed Hams design (it's a design with Seymour Skinner from The Simpsons holding a hamburger) he started to and kept using angry emotions to me after I did that.

I just want to check the island shop and get out. I always give in when people ask for bells, which is whatever, but I HATE talking to people. I'll go shop and somebody will come up to me like "hey. hey. hi. hi. hi. you there? hi. hello?" and I'm just like please leave me be. I just want to check the shop and get out and you're making me feel bad for ignoring you.

In the beginning there were mostly friendly people.

For some reason every time I would go to the islands - no matter the island - NA or Intnl - the islanders never spoke English

And if they weren?t friendly they were island hopping looking for Gram?s shop items.
It was slightly annoying but very understandable.

So for this wholesome post I will remember the Goode Olde Dayse....

If only Animalese was a universal language we could all learn like Esperanto.

A hacker gave me a free set of golden tools and good laugh as we got ourselves stuck in trees with the other chopping down the invincible tree, basically beating eachother up XD

I've never had any great stand out moments on CT. I've had some people give me items and bells. I usually don't mess with the hacked items because it just doesn't feel pure lol but sometimes they have some cool stuff.

I'm not fast at typing on there and I'm not a very social person but there's been lots of nice people on there that I've come across. I've done a couple tours with people but that's about it.
