I have a New England accent it's a bit like a Boston accent but also different. It sounds like a mix of a Boston and New York accent. (I'm from the eastern side of Massachusetts)

The accent I have is definitely starting to die out, almost nobody at the school where I go has it, they just talk in a General American accent, I only have one friend that has the accent I have and she says she tries not to talk with it. It's mostly just adults and older people who have it and I notice my mom and my aunt and even my dad sometimes trying to not talk with it and pronounce their r's, which would have never happened in 2010, but it is now.

Also, I'm not sure but I think there was a time where I just spoke with a general American accent, but then stopped because I thought my actual accent sounded better, there's still some general American in my accent but I try NOT to do that because I think it sounds boring and basic. Whenever I here someone talk with a general American accent it annoys me and it makes everyone sound so basic. If I was visiting here from another part of the country I wouldn't want to hear a bunch of boring basicness, I wanna hear an accent. Or if I visited the south, I wanna hear a southern accent.

That's a trick question! Everyone has an accent XD

I suppose I have a Canadian accent? I wouldn't say it's pure though, since I wasn't born in Canada. I didn't know what accent I had until someone in my stream mentioned how Canadian my pronunciations were XD I do admit I say "eh" a lot and also sorry. I say sorry even when it's not my fault. Lol. And *apparently* according to my viewers, I say "sorry" with a Canadian accent and now it weirda me out hahaha. I sometimes will say sorry out loud to myself randomly, trying different ways of saying it, and I can no longer say it naturally because I'm too aware of the way I say it, if that makes sense 😅😂

i have a slight accent thats unique to my area, its sort of like a Newfoundland accent but its not nearly as strong as a true newfie accent, most around here have a stronger accent than me anyways, i consider myself lucky since its a pretty ****ty accent to have lmao.

for reference look up bubbles from trailer park boys, thats what most people here sound like lmao, im one of the lucky ones

i'm from southeast england and speak with a mix of an RP/estuary accent or, in other words, the stereotypical posh British accent but with a slightly more urban edge. i don't really know how else to describe it lmao.

I don't think so (does anyone hear their own ascent?), but my mother says I do. I was born in the western part of my state, but moved to the eastern end when I was 4, so my brothers and I have slightly different accents than my parents.

It's definite New England with a touch of British, or so I've been told. :)

Not at all lol

Although my dialect is slightly southern. lived in va/sc all my life. forever pronouncing naked as "nekkid" and using the term "ya'll" 🤷

mix of northern & southern us haha. i've lived in the south my entire life, half my family is from the north. certainly interesting to say the least. there are bits of both in there.

I tried to deny that I had a Canadian twang but last year at a wedding someone's friends from South Dakota had a good laugh at the Canadian accents haha. It was all in good fun though. They also said we all kept saying "eh" at the end of sentences.

Also my boyfriend's family is from Newfoundland so their accents are thicc.

People have expected me to have a western or country accent because I live in Texas, but I don’t at all. I actually don’t really have an accent and don’t really think it fits any of the categories. My voice is really deep though, which I’m not sure I’m a fan of. 🤔

I think everyone probably has an accent to people outside of their country/region. But as for myself, I have a bit of a southern US accent. I don't live in the deep south, but I do live in a rural area so I've picked up some of the southern dialect and twang. I don't think it's too terrible most of the time, but every now and then I will drawl a word for no reason whatsoever and it makes me very embarrassed.

My mom grew up in the south but spent her summers in New York with her grandparents so she has a very odd combination of southern and northern US accents. She drops the 'r' is some words (like New Yorkers) but adds an extra 'r' to other words (like in the south).

The Pacific Northwest accent is similar to the General West American accent. There are a few differences though. For example, “cot” and “caught” are pronounced the same way. I also say “egg” and “bag” like “ayg” and “beyg” respectively.

For the most part I don't think I have a recognizable accent, but if I'm anxious, my Spanish accent will shine bright through my words .-. I'll pronounce "th" words with a hard "t" sound 🤦‍♀️

Everyone has an accent~

I learned this after I moved to Australia from the USA and someone asked me where my accent was from. The first thought in my mind was "What accent? I don't have an accent, you do!"

I'm Australian but half English from my dads side - He's from the South West area with a Gloucestershire accent, So when I speak a bit of English pops out sometimes.
