Do you have all the villager personalities in your town?

Not right now (Louie just moved out and I have 3 peppies) but I plan to. Although there are some personalities I'm not the biggest fan of, having them all provides a lot of much-needed variety. Not to mention DIYs and reactions!

I do and always have in all of my NL towns and my island. I can't imagine going without one because then I'm missing out not just on dialogue that they can say to me, but on the conversations they can have with other villagers. I kinda don't get why someone wouldn't want all the personalities unless they only care about aesthetics and don't really like talking to their villagers, or unless they really hate one specific personality's dialogue, but that's just me!

Edit: Actually, thinking about it I can understand if someone is going for a certain theme and there just aren't any villagers in a certain personality that fit it lol. For a while one of my NL towns didn't have a jock for a similar reason--there WAS a jock I liked that fit the theme, but other villagers I just wanted more so I only had him long enough to unlock the pwps--but eventually I started to miss hearing the jock dialogue so I got one again.

I have them all. I'll probably replace my Snooty villager (Gwen) at some point. She was a random move in, but I like her well enough. Not in a huge hurry to replace her, but when I do it will be with another Snooty villager.


I like having all personality types.

I have all except for Snooty, but that is changing soon, as Vivian is coming. =)

I'm definitely more on the personality variety side of the spectrum, but I do care about aesthetics, just not the popular conception of aesthetics. Like, Ursala is my starter uchi and will probably be my forever uchi because I do actually like her aesthetic - she feels like family. Not superstar S-tier dreamie quality, but the peachy colors and the kinda-anxious kinda-sweet looking face give her a kind, approachable look. That's the bear I wanna run to and hug when I'm struggling. Shari for instance just feels kinda isolated and cold by comparison.

Now Sprinkle, my starter and probably forever peppy, is definitely higher on the popularity front, but I think she deserves it. The peppy personality just fits her expressions and appearance so well, and I'm always catching her doing the cutest things like snapping pictures of my sandcastle with her phone. Bubbles, an unwanted move-in, feels like a wannabe of her, making me not want another peppy. Which is sad because some other peppies like Ketchup and such I really like, but idk how different they would feel from Sprinkle if she and Bubbles are night and day aesthetically yet one feels like a rip-off of the other.

My second town has all, though I'm hoping my current smug asks to leave someday bc he's just not my cup of tea. But I'm also debating with if I want to at least get his photo first too for the collector aspect of it. I guess I'll make the choice when he finally asks to leave for the first time.

My main town is missing a smug currently (least favorite personality). I don't really feel like scanning more amiibo in right now so I'm waiting to see what smugs pop up via campsite to try to experience more of them. Knowing my luck the same smug in my second town will show up in my camp. Worst case scenario I'll just scan in Hans.

I have every personality but uchi. Moved in Rhonda from my campsite in order to get Diva out. I eventually do want another uchi just not diva. I currently have 3normals 2 snooty 1smug 1 lazy and 1 jock.

I don't like peppies or smugs at all, but I still went out of my way to get a peppy when I didn't have one. I still don't really like her, but it rounds out the town, which is more important to me.

As it happens, I only pay attention to aesthetics when a villager is actively ugly, in which case I'll ditch them ASAP. (Kicked Winnie early on and plan to kick Tex as soon as he asks/I find a decent villager at the campsite.)

As of now, yeah, but my final island will not have any snooties, sisterlies or crankies. If we suddenly get two more villagers, I'd might get a sisterly one again, but.. yeah.
I just want my favorites, so it's mostly just smug, normal and peppy.

i absolutely want all of them. i think i would like one of each, for sure 2 crankies (i need room for both a cranky ive never had, and my fave gaston), and the last slot is basically a free-for-all.

currently i have 2 lazies, 2 crankies, 2 smugs, and no jock, but its definitely not my long term plan, and im for sure looking to add a jock once someone leaves - the only villager ive allowed to move out so far has been my starter jock, though, and i havent found a replacement yet. i just wish my lesser liked villagers would ask if they could leave for once!

I am currently trying to get an uchi villager once I kick out Egbert so yeah. I would really like to have Sheri, Mira, or Cherry.
I have all of them except for the uchi, and the one I had at the start moved out when I was trying to move Raymond in.

However, after I get all the emotions and DIYs, I will probably start moving in the rest of my dreamies, which means there won't be any jocks or uchis in the end.

I definitely want to have at least one of every personality. Aesthetically, there are a few villagers I prefer over a few I have now, and in time I may swap a few out, but I will always maintain at least one of each personality type.

I have all of the personality, but the most I have is only 2 normals. I need it personality balanced so I can finish the reactions and Diy.

I do. I have all 8 personalities but then I have 2 cranky: Apollo and Wolfgang and 2 snooty: Blanche and Judy.

Yep. I can't stand repeating villager dialogue. For about a month I was lacking a cranky and it really impacted by interactions with my villagers... Having 2 peppies and 3 lazies who said the same thing was really tiresome.

Since I have to have 10 villagers, I will try to make sure that the personalities I have 2 of will be in the different subgroups that was listed here a few days ago, even if I understand the difference are minute.
