So I know I haven't been around for a while. I kinda fell outta playing the game everyday, oops. But now that I'm kinda back I have a big 'ol question!

Do you have some kinda story around your town? A plot following your mayor or villagers or theme? PixelsV2 didn't at first but eventually it became kindof a meadow theme. Plus, after that, my mayor kinda became a crazy axe lady. Now it's a peaceful mountain town run by... a crazy axe lady.

Alleyway from the beginning is a town run by a girl who used to be rich and spoiled and upon being thrown out by her parents, she's thrust upon this town as an accidental mayor. Now she's ready to steal all the money for herself and run the place into the ground.

Soooo... yall got any stories?

Only that of a disgruntled mayor trying to coerce wolf villagers into her town and then keep them prisoner forever. Oh, while threatening the lives of villagers that won't move out (I'm looking at you Mac). That's literally what it's started to feel like since coming back from hiatus - one which was caused by Skye slipping away and me just looking at her in my main street like an escaped convict.

I'm growing a bunch of black flowers, I like the rainy days the best, and my best friend tries to move out every other effort. I am starting to feel like I'm running a very pretty cult. But my REAL goal of a story is just based on where my villagers houses are and who moved in when, so just sort of who's better friends with who and the like.

My alt, Daenerys has a story.

She runs a tavern (Tavern Targaryen), and upstairs, well, sometimes she serves more than ale, as everything has been taken from her, and she needs gold to build an army to get it back.

She has three dragon hatchlings (Wyvern Egg item, exactly three!) in her basement/throne room, where she plans to take back the Seven Kingdoms, and rule Westeros. (Jon Snow is oblivious, at the moment. The villagers keep pestering him for fruit! OFF WITH THEIR HEADS, I say!)

Until then, she'll make you a great stack of pancakes!

My second town has an interesting map - the south side of town is like a little closed off island. I want to eventually design it so that it's a secret town tucked away (e.g. There's only one bridge accessing that area, the town hall and most residents live there, etc) my mayor character would be like a protector of that little town. Something along those lines. It's like 5% worked on and now I'm taking a hiatus but I'll probably play that over my main if I come back to acnl.

this town is ruled by a mayor who is suspected of being a witch. she treats the residents fairly but they know not to get on her bad side. the days are rainy and gloomy and the nights are bleak under the cold light of the moon. the pine forest in the north is haunted, not even the witch lives there, so who on earth is the man who recently built a home there?

In general, my Mayors have no pasts of interest and never speak of them. One, however, is a bit of a recluse who never speaks to anyone nor responds to a ping. He always has an axe in his pocket and one in with his letters. (He got this idea from some crazy lady he met online.) The area above the river is only about 1/4 of the map and only has a few pine trees and a couple of rocks. All flowers are promptly dug up or sold at re-tail. Alas, one villager lives in that zone in the extreme upper right corner but he has plans for her. It's Pancetti....not for long,,,,he has the pit dug and has the banana leaves.....(name of Mayor and town may irritate the censors)

Serenade is all about music~ Music in culture and throughout the ages of humanity ^.^

Scrolwrk is basically a conspiracy theory town about governments/authority and emphasis on bullying on school. I'm thinking of keeping the theme but adding to it. With the new furniture from Welcome Amiibo, there is more I can add to the story. :D

Be warned! I have like too many stories/ideas for my towns "^-^

#1 My main town, Lorien, Isn't necessarily "themed" ...at least not the usual way.
It's basically just a normal and as realistic as possible college town.
The main bits are the 2 different neighborhoods surrounding Lorien University, The Hotel/retreat area, and the soon to built Bakery. The Bakery owner is the sister to a student at University, My mayor doesn't have much of a backstory other than she came in to town rather irresponsible and young minded but slowly came to be a great responsible mayor who loves her town and villagers. And my hotel owner is an Alumni of the Uni and always wanted to buy this one forgotten cliffside bit of land he hiked through in his college years.
There's a bunch of other smaller details too but I don't have the patience to type it all out and I guarantee none of you want to hear it x)

#2 My Second town is barely made but the goal is to have a Coven/Witch town.
The mayor is one of two twin sisters, she's a mature white witch who's all about divination and protection.
She named the town Aconite after a flower often used in protection and invisibility spells. The town itself is now "invisible" to outsiders in order to protect it's residents from threats such as dark covens and only those invited or pure of heart may enter.

The mayor's twin is a Dark Witch, she specializes in Necromancy, summonings and seances. She's actually very sweet deep down though and uses her dark powers in order to protect the dead... even if her ways are rather unconventional.

There will also eventually be a Healer/Potion witch who's obsessed with gardening, plants and woodland creatures (especially the magical types) she actively summons fairies into her woods, she enjoys their company.

No clue on the fourth witch, but that's ages away anyways.

For my main town, not really. Mostly because of consistency issues with my residents' houses. There's just too many different furniture items and styles, and also types of animal villagers, that I want to incorporate, so I'm just going with a nice, cozy, woodsy town for now.

I'm thinking about getting a second copy of the game for my old 2ds, mostly to work on the visitors and weeding badges, but eventually I'd want to do something more themed or creative with it. In contrast to my usual rustic/woodsy take, I'm thinking about making it futuristic-dystopian-1984-esque, and pretending all of the super happy villagers are like totally brainwashed. I'd change all of their greetings to something chant-y, like "O Divine City" or something. But there's going to be one little part of the land that's still wooded and probably inhabited by a side character. My mayor would be a dangerous despotic lady. Another side character would be in "jail" (probably have the house made into a cell). Or maybe a character who has a secret basement of banned books.
