I dunno, just a random thought I had. Do your mayors have a signature shirt that you wear throughout multiple save files due to just generally liking it?
For me, its the misty tee. Always been a fan of green, and the misty tee just really appeals to me.
Originally when I was a kid, I only wore the samurai shirt. The outfit I created around it made it look like my MH character's outfit. lol That's one of my all time favorite series, so I was smitten.
As an adult, I would go for the beige knit shirt or military uniform, depending on what I've unlocked in shoes/pants. I'm a fan of buttons, I guess.
However, my first ever visitor gifted me the Felyne outfit. That will be the only shirt I ever wear now, til forever.
I like wearing all sorts of clothing and swapping them out for others when I get bored of one style. I mainly wear an overall qr pattern, so I guess you can count that as a signature style. Since it's my favorite pattern I find myself wearing it more than once.
For a while, when I got my first Sanrio outfits, i wore nothing but Hello Kitty, Kiki and Lala, Pompurin, and Cinnamonroll outfits.
Then when I got the Flower Fairy outfit for the first time I was wearing that for weeks too. I like the hair and earings and the boots included.
I really wanted a Zelda outfit for the longest time after that, but I could never find a trader for it and then I managed to find one here who sold it to me I wore that and the Sheik outfit a lot and I'd probably keep wearing it if I'd based my town on the Legend of Zelda.
I guess my signature outfit that I've always worn would have to be the outfit my character started with in Wild World, which would be the citrus gingham dress. Even when I change and used a different character for New Leaf, I still love that dress to this day. I change my clothes often these days, but now I'm trying my best to stick to just one outfit for a little while and then change later when I feel like it. I'm kinda trying to find a signature outfit that I will wear often, but for now it will be the citrus gingham dress.
It’s a seasonal thing for me as I don’t stick around with the same clothing for long. Aside from what I like to wear from my signature, I like to fully clothe myself in pink. Pink Pyjamas is just one example of this.
I don't really have just one signature look that I have carried across to multiple characters. Each of my characters has their own signature look and I've never really gone for the same look more than once. There's always something new and different I want to try.
I do like Red aloha tee a lot and whenever I restarted my town, my character ends up wearing that shirt
once I obtained it. So yeah, I would call it my signature shirt. Alternative when it's winter, my character
also wears either the Red flannel shirt, Folk shirt or Shearling coat very often.
During the spring and the summer, I wear the blue dortted dress, the yellow shoes, and sometimes the Lottie's bun. When I go to the island, I wear the muumuu (or the butterfly dress, depending on my mood), oval shades, straw hat, and tropical sandles.
During the fall and winter, I wear the spunky knit shirt, the black denim jeans, and pink sneakers (but when it snows, I'll wear the shearling boots, and a hat that covers my wittle ears).
There's little variation. I just really love those outfits. Sometimes I'll wear a pattern that I made myself.
Yes and no I guess, I did design a hippie dress that I usually wore but yeah I liked to swap it out now and then for actual clothes, even though I mostly wore random unusual things ahaha
