Mine's the net! I'm an entomologist (or at least have the degree to be one ) irl, so I catch (and keep) a lot of bugs in-game too.

I like water and helping things grow, so I chose the watering can, but I also really like the fishing rod and the wet suit.

I despise bugs in real-life. Last night there was a tiny moth in my room and I didn't have the courage to go in there for another hour. I must have terrible luck, because I just found a spider. I sprayed too much at it and caused part of the ceiling to fall on my head.

But in AC, the net is hands down my favorite tool. Silver especially. Kind of pretty, lol. I just love catching bugs and stuffing them into my pocketless dress unquestionably. Seems so natural.

Do golden tools count?

In AC I usually find myself indecisive about what I want or where to put things. The golden axe has been a life and time saver. Don't have to wait for an axe to go on sale and continuously buy them when they're available.

Yeah, definitely. If your favorite item is a golden one, it still fits under the same category.

Haha. I don't mind bugs. Fish can kinda freak me out though.

I used to have some letters I would assign certain tools to based on who I got it from. (ex. I got a letter from a dog so I attach the golden shovel because dogs dig). But now that I've been going through and deleting so many messages I just started putting all of my tools in alphabetical order in my letters so I know which present icon is which.

I love the watering can because i love to water my lovely flower babies (even though I have the beautiful town ordinance i still love to water them anyways) Because I do not have a green in real life so this makes me happy and satisfies my desire to be able to grow things haha and keep them alive ._.

1. Net
2. Rod
3. Shovel
4. Slingshot
5. Can
6. Axe
7. Anything else

I've used that tool since ACWW and it always "works".

I love to fish in acnl so my fishing rod is the tool i'm closest too. I'm very close to catching all of the fish in the game (8 to go) c: I am missing one fish for this month that seems to keep evading me though so hopefully the rod will come through for me
