I tried searching bucket list threads on here but they're all old so I thought I'd start a new thread
This may be somewhat of a morbid topic, but do you have a bucket list - things you wanna do before you kick the bucket (die)?

I have a very specific bucket list in regards to baking - I won't list all of it but it includes baking things like macarons, bread (never tried baking bread before!), cinnamon rolls, donuts, and some more niche things like karpatka, wuzetka, conchas, my grandma's Russian tea cakes, etc.

I also have a more general idea of things I want to do before I die but I haven't made a list yet 😅

@Millysaurusrexjr You have made some really incredible foods/baked goods for TBT events previously, so I'm honestly surprised you've never tried baking bread! I feel it's so much simpler in comparison to the other creations you've made!

As for me, I don't currently have a bucket list, but I know I had one at some point, and it has since been lost. I may have called it something slightly different, since the idea that a "bucket list" focuses on one's inevitable death can be a bit morbid. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing my old bucket list to see whether I'd done some of those things by now, or whether I'd even want to do some of them anymore.

I don't think it's a bad idea to write a list of things I want to experience one day. Maybe one of these days 🤔

To start, I actually didn't realize that was why the term is the way it is, but now that I know, it makes a lot of sense. XD

For me, I don't maintain a bucket list either. If someone asked me to create it, I imagine it would be quite short. Previously, I used to want a lot of things, especially material things. Over time, I've realized that experiences matter more to me, and I think experiences are easier to gain when I surrender the need to control my life and instead go with the natural and inevitable ebbs and flows of life.

I also try to aim for principles over specific wants now, like learn new things, connect with people, and broaden my perspectives.

I'm not much of a bread person! I like sweets 😋 Though I do love a good croissant. Bread just seems like something everyone who bakes should make at least once

I'm far too chaotic to maintain a list that I'll stick to for any reasonable period of time; my goals keep changing week by week.

I think the only thing that I have thoroughly desired throughout is that I'd like to vacation in Europe someday. The locations change frequently, but still, Europe, somewhere.

i don’t really keep a bucket list but the one thing i absolutely want to do is go back to california. i went for the first time last year and i loved it, it’s so beautiful there. it’s very different from the part of the U.S i’m from.

I don't particularly have one aside from maybe traveling non specifically. The more places I see the better.

I got to go travel to mid west USA recently for the first time (Iowa/Nebraska) and I thought it was really cool.

I don't really have a bucket list tbh. I do have tons of to-do lists that I chip away at. Most times I feel like the list is being added to more than being checked off 😅
