Do you guys have any unnecessary inclines or bridges?

Mine are all functional. I have 4 inclines and 5 bridges. I'm in the process of revamping a few of the bridges with more upscale versions, but they go in the same spots.

I've thought about adding more, but I'm not sure where I'd put them, so I'll hold off a while.

All of my 8 inclines have a purpose of getting to places. Without them, some areas would be just possible. I have 5 bridges where they all have purposes as well. If I add any more, they'd be worthless to the island.

All my Inclines will be necessary to get to places.
I only have two bridges right now, but I believe I'll have a few to spare for aesthetic purposes once I'm done with my island..

This is what I want to avoid so I've been trying to plan where to place bridges and inclines. I'm so indecisive that I have like, three bridges and non inclines lol

I put a bridge outside Sterling's house so it looks like he has moat, that was originally completely pointless until I did up his area and out the shop there, now it's actually necessary haha

None are unnecessary to me, I make sure they all have a purpose or else it’s just a waste to me.

I mean, yes technically. There's three of them and at one point I was questioning if this is smart but I like the finished product. It's also like a shortcut, I don't know. lol

Currently have two of each - both are necessary.

Previously had the max amount of both and all served a purpose as my island had a lot of raised houses over shopping districts and parks. I also used to have two bridges next to each other where my river made a ‘Y.’

The only purely decorative incline I want to add is a diving bridge...but I suppose that’s still considered functional?

All 8 of mine have a purpose so far but I need MOOOOOORE. I haven't finished terraforming yet, however, so who knows. I generally demolish redundant ones as soon as they become redundant.

i have two which are practically useless since they lead up to my tiny shrine area. but it's one of my favourite spots on my island so i don't think they're totally useless ;~; i made SACRIFICES for this space

mine are all functional except for 1 that only leads to one area. it's worth it though because that's my favorite island landmark.

still.... i can't believe i've used all 8 already despite it all being so functional... like most of it actually connects to areas that goes on to like 3-4 different areas.

i have a few redundant inclines, i have two separated by a waterfall in front of my museum because it looks cool. my bridges are all pretty necessary though, i have four bridges, one to my ”island”, one close to my shops and two very close to the river mouths (i put them there so they wouldn’t be in the way of my terraforming)

All my inclines are functional but I have only 1 bridge that is actually functional - rest are aesthetic

I have a historic bridge, which is my first log bridge that I put down but now I've moved the river so it's only over a small pond. At first I objected over paying to demolish it but I've got used to it and might make it a little landmark with a sign.

I want double inclines leading up to my museum but I'm trying to work out if I can sacrifice a less used one elsewhere.

I only have one unnecessary one. It’s the one behind my shopping center, I wanted it to look symmetrical so I needed two side by side. They both lead to the same area, so it’s unnecessary. Everything else is pretty necessary since it makes walking around my town quicker. I made it so I don’t have to use the vaulting pole, ladders or hop.

All my inclines will lead somewhere, but at least one will lead into a hole

No idea about the bridges. No idea if I will even have more than two.

I have four inclines and six bridges. All my inclines are for convenience purposes, and I probably could reduce a couple of bridges but I'm super happy with how things are at my island 🏝
