Sometimes yelling at Kid Kat for popping out from behind a house while I'm hunting tarantulas doesn't quite cut it for me.
So they need full names, or at the very least, surnames. (or just middle names)
So here's another peep into my descent into madness:

I have never thought to do that, but it is so cute. I can just imagine you using their full name to scold them. :D
 
I have a hard enough time picking the first name haha.
It's interesting to think about for sure if they ever added something of that option.
 
That's a cute idea!

But, no, I could never do that. I struggle to come up with catchphrases. There's no way that I would be able to come up with full names for my villagers.

My cat Stella's unofficial full name is Stella Mo Mella Mi My Mo Mella or Still Small Stell
 
I like Pekoe Moon and Kid Cats' full name, then Kid as his nickname.

I don't, for a while I had a hard time remembering their names. I used to call Bruce Gruff for the longest time. Somehow I thought his catchphrase was his name. When I met him that was the first thing that stuck out to me. Then I learned there was a goat named Gruff. Never met him yet thou.
 
Omg I've never thought of that, but that's a very cute idea! I don't think I'd be creative enough for the names, but I may give it a shot one day!

I wish I could remember each villager's full name (if I assigned them) but alas, I can't even remember all of their birthdays. Thankfully there's the Guide for Animal Crossing NL app to remind me.
