Do you find yourself not playing as much ACNH anymore?

Yeah I stopped playing and went back to the New Leaf & Gamecube versions. Honestly doing it out of spite at how a brand new game seems to have a lot less than the previous game in the series. We waited for it to come out only for it to not even be a complete game, and we have to wait even longer for updates. u w u Yeah we had to wait years before the amiibo update in New Leaf, but at least the game felt complete before then.

Since playing New Horizons every morning with a cup of coffee is my new morning routine, my play time hasn’t changed. At the bare minimum I spend a half hour a day playing.

I'm feeling a little burnout, but I'm starting to get back into the swing of things by remodelling a few areas of my island. Doesn't help that the first Pokemon Sword & Shield DLC comes out next week, though.

But I am definitely playing a lot less than I did two months ago. As someone who doesn't time travel, I'm pretty much at the point where I'm pretty much greatly time-gated in my islands progression related to decorating. Compared to two months ago, I was playing of upwards of 8 hours a day on and off throughout the day. Now at best I'm playing two hours on a good day.

The pandemic probably played a nasty negative on all of us. On one side, we had more time to play and the game came out at a good time... but on the other hand, we had a bit too much time to play.

Yeah I got pretty burned out from the game. Now my island is fully decorated but too much hassle to redecorate in a different style, and I would love to experience some new villagers :( I didn't really bother with the game for the past 2-3 weeks, only logging in 30 mins a day to talk to everyone and do the wedding event

At the moment all of my gaming time is going into the Xenoblade Chronicles remake.
I kinda feel finished with Animal Crossing for now; I have a 5 star island, I have all the available fish/bugs, I have 10 villagers I'm happy with, and i've fully upgraded my house. I'm waiting for a big update to get me hooked again.

For me I think turnips are what ruined the game for me. In one week I made millions, which meant I could fully upgrade my house (including paying off the final loan that doesn't really matter). I have so much money that if I see a TV at Nooks' Cranny I can afford it without needing to spend days irl fishing and stuff to afford it. I built the giant robot diy, and there aren't really any big build goals left for me either.

i get bored of things super easily so for me it was only natural that id go off ACNH for a while. I'll get back into it in a week or two though and so i try not to worry too much. Its better to take a break than to force myself to play when i dont want to

Alot of my friends have stopped playing which is such a shame considering alot of us bought a switch just to play ac LOL my daily play time has also slowed down alot just popping on everyday to water my flowers and do my daily chores then i pop off hahaha but it feels likes im playing it how it's supposed to be played now c:

I’ve still been playing a lot, so not really! I have work and stuff though, so I think staying busy has helped me not get so bored with it. I’m having fun still! My island is at a point where I really like it (I spent a looong time terraforming and decorating it before I would let myself do anything else). But now I feel like it’s a nice-looking place to run around, fish, talk to villagers, etc.

Not as much as the first couple weeks cause it probably was 10 hours a day lol but I still log a couple hours a day for sure! I like visiting other people islands, hosting in mine, shopping, catching bugs and fish for models etc

I'm still going strong haha
I just have so much to do that I don't feel the need or want to slow down. Maybe in a month's time, it will change.

I still play it everyday but not as much because I do get bored or just don’t know what to do next creativity wise, my friends stopped playing it too but that doesn’t really discourage or encourage me since I’ve always loved this game.

Yes my playtime has slowed down a lot. There isn't much to do right now on my island. I am really expecting future new content and I hope we 'll get something more substantial than these boring and endless events.

I don't play as much as I did. I open the game, talk to all of my villagers, do daily stuff, do a bit of planning for redesigning some areas and that's it. But it's mostly because DLC for Pokemon Sw/Sh gonna drop soon

I'm not playing as much, but I still play every day. I'm not burnt out, I'm just playing a different game and it takes up my time so I don't have as much time to play animal crossing. I'm also just trying to play games with my boyfriend now that he's not playing acnh anymore.

I stopped playing during first week of June due to some personal stuff going on in life, and I'm finding it hard to get back into what I was doing.

Yeah I'm definitely less active these days. Mostly because aside from free event updates and items added it's basically catching stuff and I can't get half of them to spawn. And the lack of furniture and things to collect aside from bug/fish models etc. is kinda disappointing and makes me inactive. I mean I have my S class home and I'm not that much for terraforming fancy waterfall amusement island so I'm like... yah lol.

Sometime I regret getting the game, yes.

I still play it, but I don't commit as much hours compared to when I first started. I think with a lot of games, everyone gets to the point where it's not as fulfilling anymore to put in so many hours, especially if you have gotten so much progress done. In my case, a huge chunk of the reason I previously spent so many hours playing was just on decorating and collecting. Now that I feel pretty satisfied with what I have, I still play but not as enduring as previously.

I'm hopeful that Nintendo still has a lot more in store, and I'm making sure to take my time and not rush into doing things, since I know I would certainly lose interest in playing if I just rushed to the finish line. Then again, with AC, the "finish line" is subjective, but for me, it would be completing a lot of the achievements and item collecting.

I play for at least 2 hours daily (I might have a problem)... The morning chores alone take me about 30-40 mins to complete (gifting villagers, shaking trees, assessing fossils, etc.).
The rest of the time, I spend fishing or trying to catch that damned Rainbow stag; also some online trades here and there.
