Do you ever regret NOT getting a villager from a Nook Miles Island?

I came upon an island with Blanche two times one day and the next day I was kicking myself over not getting her. I think my reasoning behind ignoring her was because I had so many bird villagers, which was a dumb reason to begin with.

I've not regretted any yet, probably because so far I've only come across Maple (who I asked to move in), Marcel (actually quite like him but nah) and someone I don't even remember now, lol

I ignored a lot of cute villagers while hunting for Raymond (who I never got anyway) had I known, I would've gotten fauna purely because she's wanted and I could auction her off lol

I passed on Zucker two, maybe three times. I was regretting it at first, but then I ended up finding Marina, who I prefer over Zucker, a few days later. So it worked out in the end!

I skipped Kyle while island hopping for a cranky since he was my 2nd or 3rd NMT of the day. After about 30 or so NMT, I ran out and ran into Kabuki. Later I traded Kabuki for Chief which I really wanted. No regrets because I got Chief in the end but sometimes I think about Kyle and how he could have joined my wolf island

I ended up coming across Ketchup on an island I was really tempted to take her but passed her up, luckily I found stitches on the next island so I don't regret it

Yesterday I took 10 island trips to find a new villager. I didn't take more than that because I'm not looking for anyone specific, just a cutie (I have more nmt but don't feel like using more then 10 at a time). I ended up seeing Lucky, Agent S., Gloria, Celia, Mathilda, Del, Tia, Gayle, Victoria, and Marcie. I took Marcie since she was on the last island and I think she's pretty cute but I kind of wish I took Lucky or Tia instead.

I've passed up so many cool villagers because I was hoping for a dreamie that never came...

I ignored Beau because I already had Bam and didn't want 2 deer villagers. Then my stupid head decided I didn't like jock villagers and moved Bam out. Never saw Beau again. </3
I came across Merengue 2 times in 1 day (they were testing me...) and I realllyyy wanted her but already had a lot of normal villagers at that moment so I didn't invite her. Yesterday I found her again and I just had to take her in because she's adorable and deserves the best.

No, I snagged the few I really wanted when I saw them. Took a chance on a couple of new faces, and overall, I'm happy with how things turned out.

Also, OP, love your name/title/av. I've loved Figment since his intro at Epcot and a few years back, developed a fictional character crush on the comic book Dreamfinder.

Not yet, I'm pretty picky with my villagers. Spent the whole day today trying to find a villager I liked for my 10th plot but to no avail :/

Lol yeah I regretted not taking Flora when I saw her because about a few weeks later I still wanted her and bought the amiibo card. I don't regret purchasing her either though. I've been saving a lot of money recently so it didn't hurt to treat myself but I could have spent no money if I'd taken her the first time!

Aaah, thank you! The original ride is my all time favorite Disney attraction, honestly. And I love the Dreamfinder comics too. I wish Dreamfinder could return to the ride somehow, and I totally wouldn't mind that version of the character!

The only reason I regret passing on villagers is because someone worse moved in randomly afterward. Last night I passed up on Marina only for Purrl to end up moving in. I wouldn't have kept Marina, but she would've been nice to have around for a while, and I could've given her to someone who wanted her when she moved.
