Do you ever just have an 'aha' moment when decorating your island?

Yep! I try not to plan things out too much, because then I overthink it. Instead I just go about my routine and wait until I get a stroke of inspiration for major changes

Yea! Usually I go through a few days where my mind is just blank on what to do for my island. But then I get hit with an idea, and spend days terraforming and decorating! It's really nice to see my island slowly coming together~

originally when i first started, i didn't really have a very clear direct of where i wanted to take my island and its "theme". luckily, i ended up really falling in love with the whole cottagecore aesthetic that became even more popularized with this game. i decided to try it out with the items available in the game and it was an immediate fit. i love it and is glad that i found out about it!

Nah. I have way more "OH NO WHAT HAVE I DONE?!" moments. Sometimes it's a "OH NO WHAT WAS I THINKING?!" realization. I keep this up, and I'm going to be such a pro at it.

Yes I had actually. I got an Amsterdam themed island and went with a very simple layout for the city canals when I started.
Well at one point I wanted to design a better looking canal with more depth and space for fencing, but it turns out the simple layout looked so much better.
