I used to when I had Verizon, my mom never knew there was a data cap and the bill was over $800+ ~___~
Now I got unlimited data from T-mobile so yay!! We are safe lmao.
I only know for iPhone and Samsung.
iPhone: Go to Settings, Celluar and flip the switch on Celluar data.
Samsung: Go to Settings, Data Management and uncheck Data.
My mom always goes like "Hey! did you turn off your cellular data?" every time we come home since there's almost no free wifi where ever we go. I was suffering on my trip to China because cellular data did not work there either
I'm like one of the few people out of the people I know that doesn't have unlimited data and I share a certain amount with my mom and sister. I basically never use my data and it's off 98% of the time and my mom kinda uses it. But my frikin sister. She uses almost all the data every month and if we go over it's always her fault. I find it really annoying and it pisses off my mom but she doesn't really try and make her stop so I don't see why gets so mad. Whatever, it's all annoying
I use my data preservingly and am super conscious about it. When I know I'm gonna be out all day I just buy a cheap data pack for 1/6th a dollar for 1 day and use that for general texting and stuff. Otherwise, I only turn on data when I really need to check something off the internet and turn off right as soon as I'm done.
