Do you ever feel like you're happy with your villagers but at the same time, you want to let them go so you can find and invite someone else?

Like, I love all of my villagers so much that I don't want to let them go. But also at the same time, I want to get others to my island so I can befriend them. Maybe it's because I have all of my villagers' amiibo cards so I can get them back whenever I want. But also maybe it's because I've never really had any dreamies (except for Bunnie) that I can be a little more flexible.

So. Anyone else feel like this? I think I might actually put this plan into motion soon once I get a few more amiibo cards lol.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my ten favorites as they all lift weights non stop.
Even Daisy started.

It's making me dislike them all, so if there are any that don't do it, I'd like to know.

i feel this way a lot - i have a set list of dreamies but until i obtain them all, i always want to move villagers out so that i can go island hopping and look for new villagers as that’s part of the fun for me ;v;

I feel like that all the time! It's the main reason I always try to get a villagers photo before I let them out. It makes their stay on my island feel more sentimental.
i plan to do this too! even if i dont really like the villager. i feel like if i get my dreamies right away, i'd slowly start to get bored of the game (bc that's what happened to me in new leaf tbh) so right now im just gonna take my time and welcome even those that aren't my dreamies, and just find my dreamies naturally hahah

I like all of my villagers, but I'm constantly changing residents because I want photos. I guess having their amiibos also affect my decisions why I can easily letting them go.

Additionally, I guess I could say that I am also constantly searching for villagers that I REALLY love. So far I have 4 permanent villagers and I already have their photos: Rolf, Sterling, Rudy, and Punchy. Who could the other 6 be? I guess I need to keep cycling.

I think it's relieving to know others feel like this. Island hopping is so much fun to try to find a new friend, especially with how many villagers there are. Which is probably another reason why I want to start moving everyone (except for a select few) and get new faces in. I have everyone's photos. Plus I've been starting to feel a bit stagnant on the familiar faces.

I get like that. You still like your villagers but you're kinda bored I guess.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who has felt this way! The only dreamie I have ever gotten is Antonio, and so far he's the only one I'll be keeping permanently.

Oh, this is an awesome way of doing it. I should do this. The ones I know I'd permanently keep would be Coco, Beau, and Rudy.

I've gotten all my villager's photos but i want other villager's photo and not break up this pack. so yes!

Yes! I'm trying to have one of each personality I keep but then two spots to cycle. Which would work....if I stopped falling in love with the temporary villagers. Oops.

All my villagers are great, but I want more diversity in personality and hobbies. Right now I have 3 lazies and 3 normal, so there's still a lot to do there.

And also sometime you just fall out of love with a dreamie because of their hobby. At least I did, because Audie always did sport and this just seemed out of character to me. I don't get why she doesn't have the fashion hobby.

Yup! I like my villagers and it's hard to let go, but I decided that if one of them (that isn't Drift or Quillson, my two best bois) ask me to go and I already got their pic, I'll set them free.

Yes! I know I don't want to keep all of mine but when they ask to move I panic and say no because I don't know which ones I am willing to let go of right now.

I don't think such a villager exists.
Even the lazies work out

Yes, a lot of the time actually. There are so many villagers that I personally like. I feel rotating them is an option because I want to see other dream villagers I love lol

I feel that the lack of my satisfied hunger is due partially because they have limited our villager count in this game. We had 12 villagers total in NL but only have 10 here iirc. I feel our island is big enough to hold much more villagers if we so desired!

I love all my villagers right now but I know almost none of them are "end game" for me. After I get all their photos, I will let most leave so I can meet others :)

I know I've been saying that I want to start doing this, but I keep telling my villagers no when they ask about moving since I'm currently doing a TT run and I'd like for my villagers leaving to go to good homes instead of voiding them. >_<

Plus if Apollo wants to leave, I want it to be AFTER his birthday, which puts me putting off Fang's moving requests too.

Man, letting go is hard even when I want to see new faces too lol.
