Do you ever cross NL over with other games?

For example, mixing up fanart, naming characters in other games after villagers, or even the other way around and mixing up other fandoms with NL? (Like I see a lot of people make Pokemon themed towns)

I just got the new Pokemon game and I plan to pick Rowlet as my starter, and I'm going to name him Blathers!
Do you guys ever do this sort of thing? If so, what?

I named one of my characters in NL Usahana from Sanrio. I also named my town after a town from Dragon Age. cx

No, I don't really play other games. But I do make small references to other things like songs, movies, books and the like.

Oh, gosh...one of my newest towns is named Oeilvert from Final Fantasy IX, and all of my hamster villagers are my moogles. And then another town is named after Gilead, from The Dark Tower series...I love doing crossovers.

all my main characters have always been called Zelda since animal crossing GC but this the only reference to other games I ever made usually I use other things stories written by me, shows, anime ...
