Do you cycle through villagers or keep a set town?

I was just wondering how many people cycle through villagers in order to get the full experience of meeting as many different animals as they can and how many people simply search for dreamies and then keep the status quo. I'm a bit of both. Cocoplum has a set town of dreamies: Merry, Carmen, Coco, Grizzly, Octavian, Marina, Zucker, Kid Cat, Ankha and Flora. But Corvidae is still a work in progress. I began knowing I wanted Ruby, Cole, Scoot, Tabby (moving in shortly) and Moe. I also fell in love with Daisy and Del, two of my original villagers. I also currently have Flurry, Diana and Fuchsia. I like these villagers a lot! But still, I wonder if eventually I may begin cycling again. So, howabout you guys?

I used to do a lot of cycling because I was indecisive about my villagers, like I wanted to meet as many villagers as possible, so you could guess that I don't have my original 5 anymore. When I met Goldie early in the game, she became the first one I kept. I eventually settled with a dreamy list so I could fix my town. c:

A long time ago, in another town, I kept my villagers forever because I just didn't want to let anyone go. It got very boring after a while. My rule now is that I can keep 3 permanent villagers, but everyone else has to go so I can keep meeting new villagers.

My main town is a set town with the same villagers since the release date.
My guest town started out as a TT town for growing fruit. A lot of villagers came and went from that town.
It's now a real town but I let them go when I need a new face.
I have other towns and have met a lot of villagers. I still like playing my main town more.

I wouldn't have a problem keeping the same set of dreamie villager, but the think is in a year or two my taste in villager might have changed, so I cycle occasinally.

I like the cycling idea and all, but I haven't tried it yet! So I'm guessing I'll be sticking to the way my town is already and keep my current villagers that are currently living there~ I have in my town right now, Ken, Pashmina, Cyrano, Gladys, Sparro, Anabelle, Curly, Croque, Boomer and Velma. Velma is my favourite so far and all villgers here right now are originals but Croque, I accidentally got him from another town which he was moving from xD

I don't cycle. I used to just let villagers come and go as they please. But with this newest town, I am dreamy-hunting for the first time.
