I restarted my town and I usually cut down all my trees. Do you cut them all down or leave them

I cut them all down and re-plant them once I have put my paths down!
I also didn't want Cherry Trees, so I replaced them all with Peach ^.^

i never have cut down my trees. when i landscape, though, i cut down quite a lot and replace them of course

Yeah, cut them down for landscaping. I'd prefer fruit trees in general.

But cutting them all down at once is quite a task so I would do it along the way so it doesn't seem like a big task later on.

I cut all mine down several times already....I once had fruit trees everywhere but since I got enough perfect fruit saved up, I chopped them all down and replaced many with bell trees. I just think they look prettier generally :) plus, the normal trees (without fruit) looks so nice during the cherry blossom season and Autumn :)

Nope, I add more trees but I don't really cut them down that often, only if they're in the way of an important path (I run natural paths, not lay them). I want to havw a cedar forest at the top of my town and a peach/blossom garden at the bottom with small pear, cherry and orange/lemon groves in between, so I guess I'll have to move certain types of trees, but I don't go on a tree killing spree :D Also I'm a bit of a sapling hoarder, I love trees, I wish there were more non fruit types!

I cut them all down and save the fruit. Once I get my dreamies, i'm gonna make paths then start the intense landscaping and PWP process.

I did this with my three active towns: Applewin, ACNLpics, and Foster.

It's for this purpose of organization.

I tend to use increments of two in planting trees. And, when wanting some consistency, I figured that two would be better than three or four when purposes include surrounding some houses (humans', villagers') with particular trees and, of course, making sure I receive a Perfect Town record by establishing a sufficient number of planted trees. (This is also why it is important to give a town's beach a few coconut and banana trees. They get the numbers to reach more quickly.)

When I start a new town, one of the first things I do is cut down all the trees. Landscaping happens after all the villagers have plotted their houses.

I've been cutting down trees and replacing them with saplings. I still don't have one of the special stumps. lol I want to learn how to put down paths but haven't figured it out yet. I'm sure I'll be cutting down more trees once I start laying down paths.

i usually do, but this time i didn't cut them all down
just the ones that didn't fit in with the theme of certain areas of my town

I cut down trees once villagers move in and I start placing pwps down. A lot eventually get cut down and replacd but Ive never cut them all down at once

Nope! I leave them there unless I want to landscape and plant trees somewhere else.

I did cut down all my trees once, not for urban planning purposes but just to get a scorpion, the last insect I needed to have caught them all. It was drastic, but you know, I was desperate. :)

When I reset my town last year I cut down all my trees, and then I just laid out flowers of where I wanted to eventually plant new ones :)

I leave the tree their and after afew days I cut them down. I plan to make a big perfect fruit farm in my cycling town.

In my main town cut them when needed.
In my newest town I cut most of the trees because the town was started just before tarantula appeared. Removing most of the trees all 3 players caught the two bugs in a short period of time. Once I was started decorating the town with the trees I saved.

In my town that wasn't real at the time I chopped all the trees down for Pave Day. Hosted a party for my online friends and they were able to run around and find feathers quickly.
