Do you customize furniture often?

Just abit curious about this cause it's not something i do on a frequent basis...Usally selling most my fossils with the exception of gold ones and another odd 10 that i keep around just incase plus it's a new addition to the Animal Crossing series so it would be a shame if everyone just turns a blind eye at it.


So do you customize furniture often and what are some of the items you've customized so far? Personally have 4 customized spotty tables aswell as a spotty T.V. and Closet

Yes! I customized all my ranch furniture to be white. I also customized most of my classic set to be violet brown. I really like customizing and recoloring furniture.

I only really customise things when I'm about to sell them anyway and they can be customised, I only do it for the badge...

I have silver refurbisher badge but I'm going for gold! I have the cabana series customized gold, the rococo series customized gothic white, some weeding day furniture customized different colors, alpine series as leaf and some custom patterns, and a lot of miscellaneous stuff.

I customize all the time. I just learned that I have pieces I assumed could not be customized that could be, so I'll be doing those. I love customizing and almost every time I sell at Re-Tail I pick up a finished piece from Cyrus and assign him a new project.

yes I think like at least 80% of the furniture I use is customized!
I've even managed to get the gold customization badge on my main and I think bronze/silver on some side characters from customizing so much lol;;;

I usually customize stuff even if I don't use it; I like seeing what it looks like in different colors, and also working towards the badges.

I used to hate refurbishing stuff until I discovered a few tumblr pages dedicated to pictures of customized furniture and learned how many possibilities there were. Now I do it all the time, have the gold refurbishing badge on my main and I think at least bronze on two of my other characters

I don't think I've ever done anything with Cyrus, except to get a music box for Lucha for his birthday or something. I'm going to begin working on those badges after I do the dreaming ones, though, so soon!

I have two Gracie set rooms (sweets and princess), a customized rococo room, my basement is all villager photos, and then I have a side room that is an original room, but a majority of that furniture is customized as well. Debating redoing my main room (it's currently a little tailor shop looking room). Don't know what I want to do with it yet.

basically, anything that can be refurbed will be refurbed. i am constantly rushing back and forth when i receive new pieces or purchase new pieces to see if they can be customized. i oftentimes look up the different versions online as well. ;^;

Haha your house probably looks very similar to mine! I've also decorated with sweets (with lots of customized extras), princess(with an ivory piano and customized bears), and refurbished rococo. Of course I decided to mix it up and have a secret laboratory in my basement - totally opposite of my girly fairy tale house.

Yeah, customized furniture looks really cool. I usually even add my own patterns to them c:
