I personally don't care if a villager is original or not. Now I try to keep their homes cute. I won't give them fossils it just bugs me when they put one in their home. I will send villagers furniture I think goes with them, but as far as trying to keep them original I don't care.

Though I do like Marina's home <3 hopefully she won't change too much.

So how do you feel if a villager is or not?

Nope ^^
If it's your dream villager, why do you care about their furniture so much? ;P

I personally do. I don't like seeing a villager move in and the person who had them last left their mark on them. Their houses are perfect by default, I don't need mismatching furniture and clothing everywhere.

Only if the villager has like... parts of the sloppy set or just valuable stuff that I could take from them easily, in any other case, I feel extremely guilty every time I completely ignore my villager?s requests (Unless they want a super rare fish or something like that and I dont have the patience for it) so I know their houses will eventualy become an ugly mess.

For their houses and catchphrases no, but for their clothes it depends if I like the new shirt the villager is wearing.

Not really, nah.
I do find it a bit irritating if their catchphrase and junk is a mess, but besides that.

One big reason I don't care if they change their furniture is I remember in the GameCube game always sending them furniture and they would never put it in their house. When they finally could I really liked that.

I do wish they wouldn't put clothes in their home though. If I send them a shirt...it's because I want them to wear it not put it in their house. Haha

I don't really mind it much. The only time I was really bothered was when I got Flora and she arrived with a completely empty house. I didn't even know that was possible. I felt so bad and kept sending her furniture and trying to make her house kind of cute. Poor thing, lol. I sent her at least 20 letters on her first day.

Then she up and left without telling me, leaving me heartbroken...

Not particularly. I'd rather the house not look terrible with fossils everywhere, but it's not a deal breaker. If their house decently nice, I'd be fine with it. Same with clothes. What's more important to me is whether or not they have obscene or immature catchphrases, first letters, etc. It's easier for me if the villager is "original" in those respects so I don't have to interrogate people about that sort of thing, but oh well.

Was completely empty?? :O
I got a villager from someone and they only had 3 things. I didn't know they could have an empty home.

Nope !!
I only really care about their shirts, and not even that much, just when they use shirts from Able Sisters that are like, the default ones because I'm too lazy to design any for them cx
Oh, and the catchphrases, I prefer those to be original, but I don't really mind if they aren't. lol.

Only if their clothes and catchphrase are stupid. I rarely ever go into the villagers houses so the furniture thing doesn't bother me.

No, really don't care whether the shirt, catchphrase, greeting and such is changed as they can easily be replaced with a letter or when they ping you :P

Kind of, yeah. Villagers with the same personality always say the same thing, and I don't like seeing houses full with wrongly-facing furniture and fish.
