Do you guys prefer to have 10 different species of villagers or do you not care if you have repeats? I like the diversity of having 10 different species but with all the great villagers in this game I'm finding it harder and harder to do. What do you think?
I have three alligators in my town. (Well...two, and a dragon). It really doesn't bother me. I like all three of them. Just kinda happened that way, and I'm not really wishing to kick any of them out. So...it's not a problem to me.
I try my best but I can get attached to villagers so it doesn't work out lol. In NH, I have two alligators and two rabbits. I'm considering adding another cat so that would be two cats.
Not particularly! I think I have all unique species in my town at the moment, but that wasn't really something I planned, just happened that way. I care about diversifying in terms of personality more, and as long as I have one of each personality at least and I like the aesthetics of all my villagers, I don't care if I have repeat species.
No, it's the complete opposite for me. A lot of my faves tend to all be the same species and I would rather have them then have species diversity. In fact I just restarted my New Leaf file and I'm gonna try and have an all wolf village and I have plans for an all cat island if I ever get a second switch/copy of new horizons.
at first i was really set on having different villagers of every species, but all it takes is just one villager that isn't your 'dreamie' but you find that you don't want to let them go either. and it's a downward, slippery slope from there. i think it's hard because some species are SO cute and there are like 23 cats, how could you just pick one??
kind of debating this right now!
i tried to plan for one of every personality type & all different species.
but i got diana before fuchsia, and even though i love fuchsia a lot more diana is very sweet so far.
same dilemma with sheep, i bought dom today for really cheap! but pietro is one of my favourite villagers...but dom would be my only jock villager... so hard to choose!
