do you buy or craft tools?

i used to craft all of mine until a little while ago, when i finally gave in and started buying them. wood is such an important resource for me it just made more sense not to waste it on making tools when i could just buy them, plus the tools in nooks cranny are so much cuter than crafted ones!

but i might go back to crafting them just so i can get the nook miles challenge for it. i'm at 333/1,000 now, plus whatever the next level is.

I craft them except if I am carrying my colorful set. I need to still get the Nook Mile Achievement so I try to craft them as often as I can.

I usually buy them, because I like the way most of them look and I have more bells than I know what to do with.

In the beginning I would always craft them but now I just buy them. It’s more convenient and they’re cute lol

Buy. I have the excess Bells, so why not. And the outdoorsy tools look really good. I'd rather keep materials for other things.

I have been buying my tools since maybe a month into the game. They’re just nicer. The colourful tools and elephant watering can are too cute to pass up. I customize them to match what I’m wearing. Little things like that make NH unique and extra enjoyable to me.

I buy the bug net, fishing rod, watering can, shovel, and slingshot - the ones that come in colorful designs.

The axes are just basic, so I craft them towards the achievement.

In the beginning, I used to craft them all myself since I barely had any bells. now I've just been buying them from Nook's. the star nets and floral shovels are too cute uwu

I used to buy them because I was lazy, it was (usually) convenient, and I have a lot of IGB to spare, but I recently started crafting them to achieve the DIY tools badge.

Some I buy, some I craft. I like the printed-design shovel and the two fishing rods, so I usually buy those. The net, slingshot, and axes aren't as snazzy, so I craft them. I'm still working on my badges, so I will continue, at least until those are done. After that, I'll probably go with convenience.

I have still been crafting my tools for the most part due to trying to get my crafting 3,000 tools achievement (I don’t think I’m that far away but I would have to check). Crafting flimsy axes is also helping me towards my break 200 tools achievement goal so a win win. But I do still find myself buying elephant watering cans and star nets when I see them in the shop! They are just too cute to pass up and with the abundance of bells I’ve acquired I figured why not? lol.

I usually buy my tools but buy the axes because I don't wanna break my trees. I craft my fishing rods, nets, and slingshots though because I use those a lot less.

I buy them, the only exception is if I want a golden tool, in which I'll buy the flimsy version of the thing since it's needed for the recipe, and then craft the golden item.

I buy them. I did craft them all initially but after they broke a few times and I saw Nooks was selling cuter versions I bought some! I have a floral shovel, star shaped net, and I think my fishing rod has a little ducky for a lure which is really cute. I buy the customization kits and change up how they look every so often to try and stop them from breaking!

I used to always craft them but after a while with bells building up I didn't see the point and just buy them now

It depends , sometimes I buy them and sometimes I craft them. Most of the time if I craft them it’s because Nooks is closed. I have crafted a couple when on mystery islands.
