No, I only buy things I'm actually going to keep and wear. Buying everything in every color is way too expensive and time-consuming going in and out of the dressing room.
I buy whatever I like in the colors I like. Usually 5+ pieces a day, and I storage it all. My storage is 80% clothes and 20% resources and small things I might need (like fences and umbrellas).
No, it takes too long even when you have the bells. I buy at least 1 of every unique item type and then buy a bunch of different colors, typically until I either run out of bells or get bored. I do of course prioritize clothes I like and make sure to buy all of the colors of them. I'll get all the colors eventually.
I will say the amount of bells this takes to make sure this stuff is catalogged though is quite extreme, even when you don't buy all colors. My house paying off progress has slowed down severely because of it.
I do, I like building a beefy catalogue. I won’t buy items of the same color though. Usually.
I sell the items almost immediately unless I like them and bells...well bells are always a problem from me. Lol
Just what I like in colors I like. I try to be consistent with color choices since I feel the game somewhat “knows” your preferences because I see items in colors I like more from gifts of villagers compared to what’s on sale at nooks and ables. I’m not sure if it’s coincidence though.
I want to have a thicc catalog, but I hold back on buying everything. I only buy things in the colors I like, but I make sure I have a healthy spread of styles in case Gracie ever pops up again.
