Do you belive in ghost / the paranormal

Like the title said do you guys believe in the paranormal did you had any encounter with the paranormal in your life before was it something that change your life or was it something that scared the hell out of you and that you will never forget..


To me I never had a scary encounter before thank god but I am always curious to know other people story of there
encounter with the paranormal ?...

I have to believe in the paranormal because by definition paranormal is simply something outside of a 'normal' experience that cannot be explained scientifically. And since Science has been unable to explain every single experience that has occurred in the world so far, it is either foolish or ignorance to not believe. However Ghost by definition is an apparition or spirit of a dead person that has returned, and I personally don't believe in them in that regard. While I believe something 'paranormal' occurs that might resemble a ghost experience I do not believe that it is the spirit of a dead person hanging around.

Yes I believe in ghosts, I've had a few experiences.
A week after my dad died I was reading a book in bed and turned my light out then I heard my pages ruffling and turned my light on and my book was on the other side of my room.
Also on the anniversary of my best friends death my tv kept turning off by itself and all our decorations were spinning and moving. Scared the crap out of me.
My sister had my nana scare her, my sister woke up to find my nanas funeral card on her pillow and 'my room' written on her mirror my sister has refused to sleep in that room ever since and I won't either lol

Holy crap that last one is creepy!

I haven't had any experiences, but my girlfriend told me that for her uncle's funeral, her aunt drove her uncle's car. And after the service when they all went outside, the car seemingly turned itself on without a key in the ignition. Explain that one science. As a side note, my girlfriend might be crazy.

My kids toys that are battery operated goes off in the mid of the night sometimes. Usually after 2am. When this happens try not to turn on the lights.. The bulbs will blow out... -.-;

I do, I'm very spiritual but I do not believe in god (I'm starting to because when I was desperate I tried praying and it worked) and nor am I an atheist.. but I go see this lady once a month who spiritually cures me. what she does is she clears my mind of bad and basically refreshes me I cant really explain it for those of you who want to know what this is called, its called: Riki [Ry-key].
And she told me there was a spirit in my room that was tormenting(preventing me from sleeping etc..) and my grand-father protected me from that spirit (he made the "evil" spirit not do more harm than he was already doing. so I paid 100$ for a treatment which she warded off that "evil" spirit. It took her 3 days and for that time period I wasn't allowed to sleep in my room. and after that experience my eyes really opened around that topic of spirits etc.. and for people who don't know you only see spirits if they want you to see them. in short... spirits aren't something you see... they're something you feel.

Same here! I always believed in ghosts and the paranormal, but never had any experience with the paranormal. It would be cool to be friends with a ghost.

Once I was in Savannah, GA (supposedly very haunted) on a Girl Scouts trip billions of years ago, and I was in a gift shop looking at this cool little jewelry box that was high up on a shelf that I couldn't reach whatsoever. So I'm just starting at it, and all of a sudden it goes flying off the shelf and across the store and everyone turns to stare at me. I'm like "Wasn't me." Everyone kept staring, then out of nowhere this guy yells, "IT WASN'T HER. I WAS WATCHING HER THE WHOLE TIME."

I'm not really sure which one creeped me out the most. The jewelry box, or the fact that this middle-aged man was watching me look at a jewelry box.

Very scary experiences! I've had none, but one time I thought I heard a man's voice say my name, etc...also, at our uncle's house, they have a train, and our uncle said one time he slept in there and got up at 2 A.M. because he heard something...?
