Was wondering how many people actively collect badges and how many don't.

I'm definitely an active collector. Badge collecting is honestly one of my favorite parts of the game.

Sort of. I LOVE earning badges, but I don't really go out of my way to earn them. I just play normally: writing lots of letters, helping people out, catching bugs, etc. and get really excited whenever I do earn a badge. :D

I'm the same as VanessaMay - though now that I've completed my bug collection I am definitely more focused on badges! Though I try not to just write loads of letters just to get the badge.

Not really. While it would be nice to have at least a bronze in every catagory, I don't work for them. I'll probably never get the streetpass or weeding badges and that's okay.

I don't badge hunt as it's difficult and I personally don't think that the effort is worth the reward.

couldn't be bothered. i'd rather work on the museum than the badges. badges are not visible to anyone except to yourself anyway.

I always check the badges of the person I StreetPass.

They are not my main focus when I play but I try to remember to do stuff like going to see KK, because it counts towards a badge (I wouldn't go if it wasn't for the badge).

Yes I am! However, I dont really like doing it because most are boring and tedious aside from the dream address visiting, letter writing, & being helpful to villagers badges. I just do it because I want to complete everything to its fullest and like the look of badges when I flip my TPC.

I voted for sort of, because I try to work on badges, like for example I did shoot ballons for the ballon badge,
but I don?t catch bugs endlessly to get the gold badge, this would be too repetitive.

I love collecting badges, but I rarely go out of my way to try to get more than one at a time.

Right now I'm aiming to get my catalog to 50% since I already have the bronze badge. I don't like doing too much of the same thing so after that I'll focus on something else.

Would really like to get the 100% bug and fish badges since I'm so close, but there's always a few of each that ever remain elusive. T_T

Yes I do now. In the beginning I didn't pay attention to them or look up information for them.
Once the museum/town was complete I started working on badges. Wished I paid attention to the streetpass badge. It's the last gold badge to complete my collection.

I'm now working on my side players badges and letting them out to play with the villagers.
Writing fun letters back to the villagers and seeing what the villagers think of them the next day is fun. Wrote what they said to the mayor in the letters. One letter I sent was the Crossword puzzle one. Used started with an R, three letters and is a colour.

I'm obsessed with badges, although I didn't focus on them much until after I'd done basically everything else in the game and needed a new goal to work towards, haha. I just got the gold host badge a few weeks ago and the gold bell badge yesterday, and am now just five away from completion!

No, I play the game like normal, doing the things I want to do for that day. And if I happen to earn a badge I get really happy about it. But I don't sit there catching a gazillion bugs a day to get a badge. That would ruin the fun for me.

I kind of do - when I've got a silver badge, then I'll try and get a gold if I can - like when I was trying to get the gold badge for saving loads of bells, I concentrated on that more than most other things in my town, but other than that, I just play normally and if I get a badge, it's kind of like a bonus ^_^ I'd love to collect all the gold badges eventually, but I'm in no rush :)
