yea i change my personality depending on the person as long as it doesnt go against my values

Yeah, I change how I talk/type depending on their personality. In real life, I'm extremely quiet and I never cuss or anything. Online, I'm way more talkative. I change how I type depending on the person I'm talking to, usually similar to their typing style. It's a habit that I don't really like but I do it anyway. I cuss in front of people who also cuss and I don't in front of people who don't cuss.

Yep, I do, and I think that's pretty normal!!

I think it's less that my personality is changing and more that different people and situations bring out different aspects of my personality.

I am very blunt and sometimes rude around most people, even my friends, the only person I really open up around is my boyfriend, I could talk to him for hours

Yes, everyone in my house appears to be the same way. However, in my case I am confortable talking to my family members and close friends and have no problem expressing myself to them. Around other people, I am very awkward and not really talkative because I have had trouble opening up to people my whole life. I tried to work on it before, but I just make myself seem more awkward when I do.

when i first meet someone i'm formal toward them but once we get to know each other i act like myself

I'm pretty sure everyone does

You wouldn't act the same around a 4 year old as you would with your friends

I usually censor myself around kids and old people...Especially old people since they can get pretty outraged at even the most menial ****.

I'm usually quiet around people that basically I just don't see on a regular basis. By quiet, I mean the sort where I could sit there totally silent in their presence until they directly ask me something.
The only time I'm not like this is when I drink, where suddenly I become the king of social interaction.

If I don't like somebody, I'm passive aggressive as ****, but in a way where they think I'm just joking...

Well uh yeah. I'm not gonna talk the same way I do with my friends when I'm with small children or with a teacher.

yes, 100%. It's not something I consciously do, I just do. not even like acting differently around your best friend, a distant family member and someone you've just met, because I think almost everyone does that.

When I'm speaking to someone (online) I'll change my whole typing style to match or almost match theirs, I don't want to say I "copy" people because I don't really feel like that's what I do but I often become interested in things that the person I'm speaking to in interested in even if it's not at all something I'd be into. basically I don't have a personality and i don't know who i am so it's completely molded by who I spend time with and what I see

This is basically how I am, I am some kind of eldritch horror-esc amalgamation of pieces of the people around me, I don't think there is any true "me" left... it's really weird.

Before I talk to someone, I observe how they act first, then I approach them and I combine what I've observed of the other person's personality with my original personality. As I talk to them more and get to know them I start to mirror them more and more but even if I know everything about the person I will still keep part of my personality. Also, I don't like to act exactly like someone. I still gotta have a little bit of myself in the mix. I'm not sure if this whole explanation makes sense but hopefully you understand :3

i'm sweet & mature with adults, i give death stares to kids and most students, im normal around friends, conservative with family

Very much!

When around boys I'd act cool and rowdy and like curse a lot and stuff. When around girls I'd act like some casual, behaved person who's up for peppy chats and stuff (which I'm actually not and it makes me feel uncomfortable). I'm mostly awkward around girls because I'm more stereotypical boy-ish; I get along with more boys than girls.
I have girl friends though that I have the same vibes with. They're quite rowdy and loud and curse a lot like me so yeah. ^^
I'm very noisy around my family because I feel most comfortable at home, though I barely curse since, y'know, adults.
When some stranger is talking to me, I withdraw myself and actually speak in a soft tone.

to an extent, yeah. like i definitely have a Work Personality vs a Home Personality as most people probably do, but i guess my general behavior outside of work depends on how comfortable i am with the person.

of course. I have friends who are kind of sensitive so I behave and watch my mouth when I'm with them, others I can be crazy and loud with. I don't act with a person I've met for the first time the same way I do with my bf whom I've known for over 16 years

Yeah, I talk differently on forums compared to social medias and real-life etc etc. I do treat everyone with respect and avoid any badmouthing about anyone. My general behaviour though is kinda distant.
