Do wasps appear while company is over?

i honestly just really wanna know, like ive shook all these trees and havent seen one wasp

I don't think they do just the same as Tarantulas and Scorpions not spawning when company is over..

If tarantulas and scorpions don't, the wasps won't either as getting stung twice will knock you out.

Hahaha omg I was wondering this too !! I was visiting my friend's island the other day completely innocently shaking ALL the trees waiting for them to attack ......me... ... and nothing !

There was a video of two players where one shook the tree and it spawned but they ran past the second person and the wasps stung that person instead.

I'm not sure if that was just co op between two players on the same island though...that's what I'm leaning towards.

Hmmm, I went to my friends island to sell some fruit and when I came out of the store, they had been stung! So it is possible!

My guess is that sometimes they don't spawn It's happened to me twice, I'll go around my island and shake every single tree and not a single wasp will fall!!
