So Fauna pinged a few days ago and said she was moving out on the 9th. She's not a dreamie for me but a lot of people would love to have her so I said "bye", and then she said she wanted to "reconsider". Is she...not moving?

Also, I can't seem to get anyone to want to move...I'm about to bust out the net and start whacking.

Not moving. They do this sometimes ugh

Yep it happens. Although it might happen cuz your friendship with her is high.

Sometimes it happens that they reconsider without asking anything, but I've also seen that sometimes they reconsider and you get an option to encourage them to go or ask them to stay instead.

That's a pain...I'm just scared someone I really want will come camping and I will have a full town! That's for the help!

Bettina did this with me once and I didn't even talk to her since she moved in. She pinged me and said she was leaving and then when moving day came, she was still there.
Don't bother hitting them with your net, that'll just make it worse.

Usually that means she's not moving. HOWEVER. If you haven't saved after she says she's going to reconsider you can reset you game and when you restart she will ping you again (telling you she wants to move) just ignore her. and don't talk to her again until you get the notification on the 9th that she's moving away. OR if you Time travel you can just reset your game aftershe tells you shes not moving and immediately TT to the 9th and she will be in boxes. after that you can time travel back to the current date without any chance of another villager moving out.

It happens, and it's especially painful when villagers you hate tell you they want to stay because they want you to miss them/you aren't close enough friends. This is why I actually talk to all my villagers and try to help them out at least once no matter how awful they are.

If you haven't saved, you can end your game and then reload it. The villager will ping you again and you can keep doing that until they say they will move.

Then just refuse to talk to them afterwards.

You should also avoid having any alt characters walk in front of the moving villager because they will ping and ask them to move too. They can change their minds with the alts and when you play as mayor again, that villager will ping you to tell you that they changed their mind about moving. -_- It's happened to me before...
