Do the first three mystery island villagers move in in the order you got them?

I want to place two of them for my permanent layout because they fit the theme I’m going for perfectly.

However, I don’t want to put Hornsby or Audie where I want June or vice versa!

It will tell you who is moving into which plot, though, after you move them in, so you may be able to do something with that info in your plans?

In my experience, it’s always been lazy for plot 1, peppy for plot 2 and normal for plot 3. I don’t have any other concrete data to back that up tho aside from my previous personal experiences.

Just wanted to chime in and say this is correct. This order has been recorded on Nookipedia.

So all you have to do is put the correct numbered plot where you want them to go, and once that specific villager has been invited, then the plot can be furnished.
