Do some of the villager textures look kinda weird?

I feel like a lot of the textures look almost... fuzzy? Like they're made out of felt and are walking dolls (I really noticed it on Lucky and Bluebear tbh). Thoughts?

I haven’t noticed much on my other villagers but the octopi are really shiny like Marina is so shiny she looks plastic fantastic.

I noticed this about Curlos! It suits him, as he’s a sheep, but out of all the sheep he is the only one with wool that looks like.....actual wool. Very odd.

yes i noticed this too! imo it looks fine on animals that are supposed to be fuzzy but i've noticed it on my rhinos too - why is renee fuzzy??

I like it IMO, they look like stuffed animals. I still like New Leaf’s “painterly” texture better though.

I noticed it too! I personally like it was it makes them look like cuddly stuffed animals. It’s very noticeable on one of my villagers Buck.

I noticed it as well, some textures dont apply well to certain animals, like rhinos...

I also noticed it on Biff, but didn't mind as much since it kinda goes well with his color.

Lucky on the other hand looks strange since I don't picture bandages being that texture

I've noticed it too and it definitely looks better on some species than others. Overall, I like it though since they all look fuzzy

They really went out of their way on the texture of the villagers. I appreciate they didn't use the same one for every villager, and I like the fuzzy look for some of them.

Tia I noticed has a smooth porcelain look while Marina always looks... moist? Are the frog villagers like that, I hadn't seen one in the game yet.

The frogs share a "moist" texture I think. Though Prince looks a little less shiny than Marina

i did notice this! i like it on most of them, it adds detail to the designs while keeping things cartoon-y

I really appreciate the textures, to be honest. I think they add the depth to the characters.
Zucker is very shiny, too. Henry does not have the fuzz on him, being a frog, but he's not as shiny (slimy) as Zucker.
