After a 8 month hiatus from the game, I finally have decided to get back into ACNL again this summer with a brand new town! So i'm just curious are there plenty of people still actively playing/trading?

well yes.. i think it's quite obvious haha. tumblr is the most active community imo. theres also reddit which is great for trading. many people don't really post at this time though

Oh okay thanks! The only reason why I asked was because a friend of mine told me that it died out and that it was just a fad, which made me scared to start playing again.
