I was plot resetting for Fang, and I noticed that even when I had quite a few open patches of land, the plot would never appear in those areas because they had flowers. I thought of removing them to see if it would encourage them to place their plots on the desired spots, but I forgot! I'm plot resetting for Nan and it feels like the same thing.

I've heard of people's hybrids getting squashed by plots, but has my situation ever happened to you?

Plots spawn randomly given in areas that are available (standard not directly next to other houses/buildings/PWPs etc). I've been fortunate enough to not have to plot reset, for my acquired dreamies have first time moved into nice spots. Amazing, really. Shout-out to Beau for crushing my pansies (non-hybrids thank god), though.

My dreamies Olivia, Sprinkle and Julian moved into the exact spots I wanted, and Dierdre was probably my first random move in, when I didn't know about the plot reset trick. She moved into the most perfect spot! Fang took almost 4 hours and I'm getting frustrated over Nan's plot since she's my #1 dreamie!

But thanks for the info, guys! Wish me luck. ;_;

Ahh good luck !! I've heard of people literally resetting hundreds of times. I hope all goes well ! ♥

YOUR WISH OF LUCK WORKED
after so many resets, she moved into the EXACT spot I wanted. This is a testimony, guys. NEVER GIVE UP ON PLOT RESETTING
YOU CAN DO IT

CONTROL THE PLOT
BE THE PLOT

Also, when it comes to plots, if you see it on the start screen (when a villager is walking, or when the camera pans over your town) it's not actually placed there. I saw Nan's plot on the start screen, and it was in a horrible area. I decided to test if it was indeed a preview, but when I went in it wasn't there! It was somewhere else. It was in the PERFECT SPOT.

So just a little tip! But then again maybe you already knew that.

Hehe. Your little final tip reminded me of the end of Resetti's rants, where he gives you a grammar lesson. "DON'T GIVE UP ON PLOT RESETTING! DON'T MAKE ME TELL YOU AGAIN! And, another thing, you know how you see a plot in a great spot on the preview screen? That's not where it will be! Go in and plot reset!" :)

This really made me smile, hahaha!!
I'm just so happy because Nan is my #1 forever dreamie.... I just HAD to go all Resetti hahaha

Here is some advice for everyone, who has trouble with plot resetting...... Place your hybrids in the spot you want them to move in! BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS LOVE MOVING IN ON TOP ON HYBRIDS!
