Do more bugs and fish appear on Club Tortimer?

I feel like bugs spawn much more quickly when I'm playing on Club Tortimer as opposed to the regular island. Is this true, or just something I've falsely assumed?

Edit: I'm really sorry that I posted a new thread instead of replying in the questions one! ;__; I honestly looked first and somehow completely passed over it...ah it won't happen again!

Oh, that's ok! IMO, if it does though- you're still in a group, which means Tulip... that should the island spawn more insects/fishes, you'll have other players to acquire them aside from yourself.

That's also my impression. I rarely see many bugs on my palm trees, unlike on the island, where there definitely will be at least one or two beetles waiting at any given time (assuming you're there after 7 pm), unless the wharf roaches are having a party somewhere.
