So I found out that Toby exists the other day. My sweet little rabbit boy who also happens to be based off of Keroppi??? You mean my favorite Sanrio character by far???? I NEED him, but I don't know if he was Japan only or not. He might not've been, but hey, I've been looking for amiibo cards for a while and if I have to import some then I will, if I can't get them from a trusted source on the forums.

So the question stands, can you use Japanese amiibo cards with North American games? Is there even a difference in amiibo cards? Am I making this up? I know Nintendo did a LOT of region locked stuff on the 3DS so I want to make sure before I start my search.

Yes, they do actually! :) Amiibo are not region locked fortunately, I have plenty of imported Amiibo in my collection that I use because they were much cheaper to get (since I never collected them to keep in the box).
